It has been 3 days since what happened, Alex won't talk to me and he won't even bother looking at me. But it's alright, he can do whatever he wants. I won't say anything anymore. I'm done with this game.
As I was walking along the crowded hall, I tripped over myself and fall with my books in my hands. As I help myself to stand up, I felt a hand helping me maintain my balance.
' are you alright?' He asked, handing me my books.
' yeah I'm okay' I flashed a smile.
' Thank you for helping me btw'
' your welcome and I'm Carlos' he took out his hands, probably asking for a handshake.
' I-I'm y/n' I returned the handshake. He held my hands tight making it uneasy to let go, as I got out of his grip I smiled my last smile and walk to my class.
Carlos POV :
' yo Carlos, welcome back' my friends greeted. It feels nice to be back here, so many hotties.
' not even starting your first day yet but already looking for a chick huh?' My friend Gio teased me.
' shut up' I laughed.
We were talking among our group of friends, when I saw a girl on the floor. I hurriedly went over to help her.
' are you okay?' I asked her as I grab her books.
' yeah I'm okay' She flashed me a smile.
' Thank you for helping me btw'
' your welcome and I'm Carlos' I took out my hands from my hoodie pockets, asking for a handshake.
She returned me back her handshake, I grabbed her hands tight making sure she can't let go but surprisingly she's strong. She gave me another smile before she left me.
' ooooo what was that?' My friend teased me again.
' just helping a girl out, that's it' I answered.
' just helping a girl out you say?' They laughed.
'Come one, Carlos I know what you are up to. That girl you just helped out probably didn't even know what she's about to face soon. Poor girl' Gio elbowed me and laughed.
' i mean she's a hot chick so....It's gonna be a fun game' I smirked.
