Tim quickly shut his mouth as he stared at the female before him in disbelief at what she just asked. She began to grow impatient, waiting for an answer.
"Well?" She asked, hoping to acquire an answer. The brunette male looked down and bit his tongue.
"Please Tim. I want the truth." Her face seemed to soften as she looked at him.
"Fine. I'll give you the truth since you want it so bad." He picked up his coat and reached into the coat pocket, pulling out a folded up envelope. He handed the envelope to her with his head hung low.
"Here is your truth. It's in here." The (h/c) female grabbed the envelope with hesitation and preceded to open it. Tim spoke as she pulled the contents carefully out of the envelope.
"The day that I sent you that voice message, I woke up with that envelope besides me. I wanted to show you this later but since you really wanted to know the truth now, I'll just give you the damn thing." The brunette watches (Y/n) pull out a letter and a couple pictures which seemed to be spotted in blood.
The female took a deep breath, setting aside the pictures as she had opened the neatly folded letter, revealing a sickly, almost childish drawing of a tall white figure in a black suit. There was writing next to the drawing, reading.
'This phone number belongs to a girl who knows more than she lets on. If you want more information contact her as soon as you can. Her name is (Y/n) (L/n), she lives in (Y/t), and she'll know how to solve a lot of your questions.' The (h/c) tensed, gripping the edges of the paper until she noticed a bit more writing near the bottom, revealing her phone number. Her breathing hitched before she looked at Tim. The brunette male looked away, not daring to look her in the eyes.
She looked down at the pictures laid out on the bed before she felt her back pocket vibrate. Her eyebrow raised in confusion before she pulled out her phone from her back pocket. It could be seen that she was getting a call from a familiar, unknown number. She hesitantly accepted the call and put the phone up to her ear, hesitantly speaking.
"H-Hello?" She unintentionally stuttered from her dry mouth into the phone while she received a dark, demonic chuckle from the other side of the line as a faint static could be heard in the background as well.
"You have 10 minutes to get to Boulevard Park before you piss me off. Don't keep me waiting, Rabbit 179." The husky male voice suddenly cut off as he had hung up. She felt the color drain from her skin before she looked at her alarm clock, seeing the current time. 11:30pm. She mentally cursed herself before standing up, putting her phone back in her pocket. Tim watched her actions as the (h/c) picked up the pictures and letter, standing up, then taking them over to her desk before setting them down.
"Tim, I need to go out to meet someone. I should only be out for about maybe 30 minutes to an hour. If I'm gone for longer, I need you to call me. If I don't pick up then assume the worst and lock all the doors and windows, got it?" She looked back at the male as he scrunched his eyebrows.
"I could hear what that message was, (Y/n). There is no way in hell I would let you go out alone." Tim argued as he swung his legs off the edge of the bed, ignoring the small stinging pain from his wound.
"You're injured badly and you won't go with me. I need to know that you'll be safe otherwise it'll bug the shit out of me. Please Tim. I need to know that I can trust you on this." (Y/n) looked beggingly at the male before her. A sigh escaped his lips while he closed his eyes in defeat.
"Fine." He spoke through his sigh.
"Just promise you'll come back." He opened his deep brown eyes, looking at the woman in front of him.
"I don't plan on going anywhere." The (h/c) gave a small smile as she looked at him, tossing him one of her oversized T-shirt's.
