The young boy gave the small girl a sense of deja vu but she brushed it off.
"Please let me in. The monster is coming." She sobbed to the young boy as he seemed shooken by her words. Almost immediately the young boy pulled her in then locked the door.
"You see him too?" The young lad asked, turning back around as he spoke shakily. The young girl nodded as she took a step back. The boy looked as if he was going to have a mental breakdown and she didn't want to be the cause of it.
"He's gone now though." The young girl tried her best to lighten the mood as much as possible.
"He'll be back. He always does." The young boy fidgeted with bandaged around his fingers as he looked at the dark corner of his room. There was nothing but silence that carried on for a while before she decided to break it.
"I'm Y/n. What's your name?" She gave a small smile as she wiped away her tears, feeling a bit relieved to have someone with her.
"My name? Tim is what most people call me." He returned the small gesture as he felt the same way.
The smell of something peculiar woke up the h/c woman as she tried to sit up, only to be held tight in Tim's embrace. She sighed then turned around to face the sleeping man. She admired his peaceful features and thought about how only maybe two days ago Tim looked like a complete train wreck. She sighed at the fact they couldn't stay like this even though she really wanted to. She carefully unwrapped his arms and slipped out, slipping a pillow into place instead. She stood up and tip toed her way to the door.
Y/n quietly and slowly opened the door, looking down the hall to make sure she wasn't going to encounter a surprise attack. Once she made sure the coast was clear she proceeded to open the door quietly and tip toe out of the room and down the hall to the staircase. The stench proceeded to become stronger and she got closer to the kitchen. She stepped cautiously down the stairs, peering around the corner as she saw the kitchen light on. She clenched her fists, preparing to fight as she turned the corner completely. Even though downstairs was quiet she still had to stay on guard for the chance that there is an intruder in her house. As she took a step closer to the kitchen her bare foot landed on something warm and almost sticky. She swiftly picked her foot up and looked down to see what she stepped on to see a red liquid on her floor. Due to the coloration and smell of it she could tell it was blood. Fresh blood. The metallic smell flooded the room and she took a deep breath, avoiding the trail of blood to the kitchen. When she stepped into the blinding light of the kitchen she blinked a few times, letting her eyes adjust to the bright light. After her eyes adjusted she saw a horrific sight before her.
A mangled corpse laid in the middle of the kitchen island, intestines spread throughout the room as well as blood splattered on the cabinets and walls. Some bloodied kitchen knives stuck into the walls and corpse. Y/n felt bile rise in the back of her through as she covered to mouth to keep from vomiting on the floor. She stepped deeper into the bloody mess and looked to her left seeing some writing on the white door. "Welcome to hell, Rabbit 179" she felt her breath quicken as she felt she was going to have a panic attack.
"This couldn't really be happening to me, right?" She spoke her thought out loud as she hesitantly stepped towards the bloodied door. A faint ringing started to fade in as she got closer and closer to the door as the odd sense of deja vu hit her. She shook off her chills and picked up a oddly coincidental clean knife that laid on the floor next to her. She could hear voices behind the door as she approached it, reaching out to grab the door knob. As she grabbed the door knob she felt a hand on her shoulder as she turned she met Tim's gaze.
