Sofia's POV

Mommy was trying to put me in my car seat but I didn't want to. I didn't want to leave the hotel and go back in the cramped car. I wiggled and squirmed and mommy held me even tighter. "Sofia, please stop. We need to go. The sooner you behave the sooner we get to Florida." I stopped squirming and thought about it for a minute. I finally gave in and rested my head on my mama's shoulder, tired from all my struggling.
Kacie's POV

I held my baby as she slowly fell asleep in my arms. I sat with her in the backseat until she fell asleep, and then put her in her car seat. After 20 minutes I decided she was out cold and told myself I could fall asleep for a while. When I woke up, Sofia was still asleep. I decided to wake her up, since I didn't want her to not be able to fall asleep tonight. She blinked her eyes sleepily and reached toward me. "Mama? Can I sit in your lap?" She asked, slurring from still being sleepy. I nodded and pulled her into my lap. I took out the iPad and turned on Frozen. She watched, contently playing with my bracelet and watching the movie.
