Kacie's POV

I sighed. Today Kelly and I both had to go back to work. I really didn't want to, but I knew I had to. I walked into Sofia's nursery and gently shook her awake. "Honey, you need to wake up. It's your first day of daycare." I said quietly. She stretched, grunted, and made grabby hands towards me. I picked her up and took her downstairs for breakfast. I put her in her high chair, but she was becoming difficult and wouldn't eat for me. She grasped my shirt and tugged right over my breast. I sighed and figured she was just upset because she wasn't going to be with us for the entire day for the first time since we had her. I carried her to the couch and nursed her. When she was finished we walked upstairs to get ready for the day.
Sofia's POV

Mommy took me upstairs to get me dressed. She told me I could pick out whatever I wanted. I picked out my Lion King onesie, and held it up. She laughed and said, "Okay babes. Let's get it on you." I laid down so she could change me and put my onesie on. We then got my winter coat, hat and gloves and went to the car. Because it was a longer drive, mommy gave me the iPad to play on. When we got there I still held onto the iPad while mama carried me in.
Kelly's POV

"Baby, can you look up and say hello to Miss Kendall?" I asked my baby girl. She looked up and shyly mumbled a hello. Then she hid her face in my neck. Kendall was actually a friend from a long time ago, so I knew this would be great for Sofia. I gently set Sofia down and grabbed the iPad. I gave Sofia a kiss on the head and Kacie and I left for work. I pulled into work and headed in. "Welcome back Kelly!" said Monica, the lady at the front desk. I smiled and thanked her, then headed to my desk and got to work.
