Wolves by Sam Tinnesz (feat. Silverberg)-
Klaus Mikaelson stood silently on the edge of the bayou, his green eyes watching as the moonlight danced gracefully on the water. Everything was quiet given the occasional breeze through the trees, but when a small crunch a few meters away caught his ear, Klaus turned to meet the yellow eyes of a silver wolf as it approached. It stood straight, peering curiously at him as he sighed, turning back towards the water.
"I could use the silence, Vera." Klaus mumbled as he heard the heavy breaths of the canine turn into light ones of a human.
"You could always use the silence." Vera laughed softly as she walked up beside him, her blue eyes meeting the ripples of the bayou. "Whether or not I choose to give it to you is the question."
"You know, there are moments like this where I regret making you like me." He chuckled, his eyes scanning over her nude form as she stood to his right.
"We both know that's a lie." Vera grinned, placing a hand on his shoulder as she slipped to stand in front of him.
"Maybe." Klaus replied, his hands falling to rest lightly on her waist as she pulled him closer, arms wrapped around his neck.
"What's on your mind, my love?" Vera whispered, leaning in to place a gentle kiss on his jaw before resting her cheek against his chest.
"New Orleans is always under a threat." Klaus sighed. "Every time I feel like I have everything handled, something new pops up."
"You always carry the weight of the world on your shoulders, Klaus." She took his face in her hands and met his steady gaze. "Allow yourself a moment of peace. Step away from your worries and enjoy what's right in front of you."
"What are you suggesting, sweetheart?" He leaned in to brush his lips against her ear.
"Come for a run with me. I promise I'll make it worth your while."
Klaus pulled away to look into her blue eyes with a smile. After a moment, his lips parted and he sighed.
"Alright, but just this once." He chuckled. "But it better be everything you promised."
"Oh, it will be." Vera grinned.
Klaus watched as she stepped back underneath the moonlight, her pale skin glowing softly under the exposure. Seeing her in such a state made him remember his want to turn her. She was just as beautiful and enticing as the day they had met. As she fell to the forest floor and transformed back into her small, sleek, silver form, Klaus couldn't help but follow her.
The moment he felt his own paws hit the ground, she took off running, looking back only once to make sure he was behind her. Klaus felt his mouth open in a happy pant as he chased her into the depths of the forest, letting out little barks every so often to let her know that he was hot on her tail. Vera bounded gracefully in front of him, somehow able to always be one step ahead. After about an hour or so, the two soon became tired and Vera slowed to a stop beside Klaus. She turned to nuzzle her grey head against his chest as he stood beside her. Klaus leaned over to gently lick the top of her head in reassurance, using his head to gesture her over to a small gap in between the trees. As they approached, Vera noticed the familiar property of one of the Mikaelson homes. Letting out an excited bark, she turned to look up at Klaus before bounding ahead and stopping once she had climbed up onto the grand porch. Laying down so that her belly was flat against the wood paneling, she allowed herself to transform a back into a human, sitting up as Klaus approached. His yellow eyes watched her intently as she stood and winked at him, heading for the door. Even in his wolf form, she could see the lust in the forefront of his gaze. Giggling softly to herself, she pushed open the front door and heard him transform right behind her. Taking a leap inside, she bolted up the stairs, trying her best to remember which room had been Klaus'. Moments before she even had a chance to figure it out, she felt arms wrap around her waist and pull her into one of the bedrooms. Soft laughs fell from her lips as she was thrown onto a plush bed, Klaus crawling over her in a matter of seconds.
"I have to admit," he whispered, nibbling playfully at her neck, "you do know how to keep a promise."
"Oh yeah?" Vera teased, tugging her bottom lip in between her teeth.
"I think it's about time I make a promise to you." Klaus grinned, his hands having a mind of their own as they trailed up and down her nude form.
"And what might that be?" She whispered, feeling out of breath as he rubbed himself against her.
"To make you scream my name." Klaus purred deeply before slipping between her legs.
