We turn back to watch the shop o up in flames glass shattering and fire devouring the building. I pull on Roses' hand and we walk home tired from the events that just happened.

--------------------------------------------------

am sitting in the armchair watching the telly as they try to guess what started the fire in the shop. My long white hair falling in my face.

"The whole of Central London has been closed off as police investigate the fire. Early reports indicate-" Mum walks in cutting the tv off and handing me a cup of sage tea. I think her as she goes back to yelling over the phone.

"I know. It's on the telly. It's everywhere. They are lucky to be alive. Honestly, it's aged Rose. Skin like an old bible. Walking in now you'd think I was her daughter and Brena is even worse!" I roll my eyes at my mum's dermatics.

Oh, and here's himself. Mum says as I hear the front door slam shut. Mickey runs in the room worry clear on his face.

"I've been phoning your mobiles. You could've been dead. It's on the news and everything. I can't believe that your shop went up!" He said hugging Rose then hugging me, kissing my forehead.

"Were fine honestly!" I say kinda annoyed at them babying us.

"Well, what happened?"  he asked looking between us his worry melting into curiosity. I smirk thinking about the ma- I mean the doctor.

"We don't know!" I said remembering what the doctor said about getting people killed. I put down my tea as it has gotten cold.

"What was it though? What caused it?"  he pushed this time asking Rose. She looked at me and I shook my head slightly and she discreetly nodded.

"We weren't in the shop. We were outside. I didn't see anything, Did you Brena?" she asked I shook my head and shrugged.

"Your guess is as good as mine Ro." I said grabbing my book off the table and turned to the bookmarked page.

"But- It's Debbie on the end. She knows a man on the Mirror. Five hundred quid for an interview!!" Mom stormed in cutting off Mickey. I sighed not looking up from my book.

"Oh that's brilliant! Give it here!" Rose said face excitement in her voice. I heard the sound of the phone slamming before the wine from our mum.

"Well, you've got to find some way of making money. Your job's kaput and I'm not bailing you out." Mum said disappointment in her voice.  Her mood changes quickly as the phone rings again.

"Bev! There alive. I've told them, sue for compensation. They were within seconds of death."  I let out a small giggle as she goes back to gossiping over the phone.

"I get up closing the book. I'm going to bed night!" I call out t mom in the kitchen. I throw myself into bed not bothering with changing. I look up at my ceiling and sigh thinking about the night sky that it's hiding. I then let thoughts of the star lure me to sleep.

I wake up to my alarm. I throw my hand on it turning off the bell.

"No reason to get up sweetie!" mum yells out but I get up anyway changing into my outfit of the day keeping my hair down. I get up and see a lazy Rose on the couch.

"Move." I mumble. she bends her legs and I sit down laying on them as she runs her fingers through my hair making me sleepy.

"There's Finch's. You could try them. They've always got jobs. mom says throwing a magazine on the coffee table.  I sighed trying to zone out there conversation.
