"I love it, mommy! It's cute!" Alicia beamed jump up and down smiling her face off.

I scoot down and kiss her cheek "Am glad you like it now go put her in your bed she must be cold " I joked.

Alicia skipped off upstairs to her room. I sat down on the stool and rest my elbow on the kitchen counter as I watch grandma prepares lunch.

"It's been a month since your last visit," Grandma said.

I sigh I know where this is going.

"Granny has been busy, very busy working my ass off to take care of my daughter and even you too" I stated.

Granny stopped cutting the tomato and look up at me pointing the knife accusingly at me "Don't bother with those silly excuses if you just left that... That... That nasty work of yours and-" I cut her off.

"So this is about my job now! huh! I make money more than enough to take care of us and it's worthy and you know why I have to take this job because I don't have no other choice!" I snapped.

Granny shook her head staring at me with pity.

I sigh and facepalm "Am sorry" I apologized staring at the floor.

Granny sigh "It's okay, come on eat up I bet you skipped breakfast," she said with a sightly laugh.

My tummy suddenly growls before I could lie, I laughed and dig down in my sandwich.

I decide to take out Alicia, spend the rest of the day with her before I leave.

"You're forgetting something sweetie," I said.

Alicia pout "Mommy do I have to wear a seatbelt" she whined.

I nodded "Yes sweetie you have to its for your own safety now buckle up," I said.

My six years old baby obeys mommy and buckles her seatbelt.

"Good girl now smiles for mommy," I said smiling.

She immediately replaced her pout with a beautiful smile.

"Mommy let me taste yours," Alicia said taking a scoop of my strawberry and chocolate chip ice cream.

"Hmm, this is my second favorite " she smiles widely showing off her cute little set of teeth.

I smile am so blessed to have such adorable little girl.

"Here try mine!" she said.

I dip my spoon in her chocolate flavored her first favorite.

"So how's school baby? don't tell me you get in another fight?" I asked.

She shook her head "I did not mommy and school going nice I met a new friend" she blushed.

I smile "What's her name?" I asked.

She shook her head "It's not a her" she said blushing.

I smile widely "Ooh what's his name?" I asked.

"Matt Jones," Alicia said the blush still on her cheek.

My baby girl has a crush.

I smile "Hope to meet Matt soon".

"I don't want any ice cream!" a kid shouted angrily.

I look up at the door a little handsome boy came in the shop with a funny looking pout on his face I couldn't help but grin.

"Matt!" a man shouted storming into the store with an equal angry look in his face as Matt.

He dragged the little boy whose name's Matt to the counter "Go make an order I don't have time to stop by McDonald's am already running late!" he roared at the child capturing the entire shop's attention.
