Nathan POV
She really knows how to trigger off my mood. I watched how she stares at me her cute eyes look frightening and I immediately regret snapping at her but she's misunderstanding everything.
I sigh "Am sorry for snapping at you" I apologized I smirk remembering this is the second time this girl got me apologizing.
Am not the type to go soft on people but when am with Emily she makes me do stuff and feel things I never thought I would feel.
Now she's here downgrading herself calling herself a whore and shit.
"Your not a whore okay and it's none of her business to know who am with I use to date her but I call it off she's not the right one for me she's the complete opposite of what I want" I said.
"Then why were you spending so much time with her that you forget to call" she asked keeping eye contact with me her voice sound a little hoarse and her eyes held insecurity.
Damn why this girl always put herself down it's a pity she doesn't know how much I like her I love everything about her I wouldn't change anything about her.
"We were just on a business meeting it's really complicated Emily but I will tell you everything soon I promise and the reason why I didn't call you it's because I was so busy work has been difficult for me lately I can't turn my back without something going wrong" I tried to explain.
She smiles and hugs me "I believe you" she said I smile uncontrollable and hug her.
She felt so right in my arms and am not planning to let her go even if I have to put her over my job.
"Hop on my back let me piggyback you to the house" I said her eyes lit up like a child received a whole candy store.
I chuckle at her reaction as she excitedly jumps on my back wrapping her arms around my neck I held under her leg supporting her.
"Do you want to go somewhere tonight?" I asked.
"Where?" she asked I could tell she's smiling.
"A Charity Ball, what do you say princess would you like to accompany?" I asked with a smirk.
It was silence for a moment then I heard her spoke in a small voice "Sure" she replied.
I frown why the sudden change in her mood "What's wrong? Don't you want to go?" I asked.
"Yes but all those rich people will be there and I won't fit in" she said burying her face in my neck.
Again with the low self-esteem
"Emily stop with the bullshit I promise if I ever hear you put yourself down again am going to do something to you girl" I threat with a smirk.
Ooh she doesn't know what's coming her way.
I place her down on the step she flashes me a smile "What you going to do to me Mr. Hunter?" she asked innocently.
I smirk "Oh you will see soon" I reply.
"I have nothing to wear Nathan" she freaked out.
I chuckle "Don't worry sweetie I bought you a dress it's in the car".
Her eyes lit up as she runs to the car and unlock the door.
I watch her amused sometimes I wonder if she mistakes her age she acts childish in a cute way that's always got me smiling.
"Oh my god!" she squeals"This is so freaking cute! How do you know my size!" she said holding up the dress.
I smirk it's a pity she doesn't know I check her out every day I admire her a lot.
