Chapter 3

Shuichi's Perspective:

A few days past after Monokuma told us we were trapped in this high school. Over those few days we all got to know each other, befriended each other, and learned to get along. We also found our ultimate labs, and learned how to get around the school. We were each slowly but surely coming to terms with the fact we were trapped. It's not like we weren't mad about it, we still hadn't stopped searching for an escape either, just were coming to terms. My closest friend I met was Kaede. I was friends with Rantaro, Keebo, and Kaito, but Kaede was my closest friend here. She was the first person I met. Whenever I'm with her I feel safe and hopeful. She was so optimistic about this, even though she was scared.

Kaede's Perspective:
Over time, things got a bit better, and we began living life like this. I was scared, sure but I remained hopeful. And it was hard not to be hopeful if a guy like Shuichi was with you, huh. We had gotten closer and I knew I could trust him. He always protected me and made me feel safe. He made me smile by just being there. He was so smart not to mention!

I had really liked the Ultimate labs. I had a huge grand piano to practice on. It made me so excited. Shuichi's lab was really cool too, it had all this detective stuff in it that I didn't understand. We all decided to check them out today. We decided that in a morning gathering we were going to have in the dining hall every morning. Anyways after saying bye to Shuichi and all my friends (Tsumugi, Maki, Tenko, and Himiko) I went to my Ultimate lab, as they went to theirs.

Shuichi's Perspective:

After the morning gathering we all went to our ultimate labs for the day. I went up to mine and just sat. It was really boring, just shelves of files about criminals, shelves of poison, a dusty desk with a journal and pen on top. I decided to take a walk. I went out and went to the first floor. As I was walking I heard some beautiful piano music. I maintained the same pace but I followed the sound of the music. The music was beautiful, it made me warm inside. The sound made me eventually wind up at Kaede's lab. I knew that beautiful sound couldn't come from jut anywhere. There was a crack in the doorway and I looked inside. Why did Kaede look so amazing all of the sudden. She was so poised and I was so impressed the music came from her. It took a minute or two before she noticed me but when she did she looked embarrassed. I chuckled a bit when she stopped and stared at me.

Kaede's Perspective:

I was really focused, then I looked up and saw Shuichi in the doorway. He looked kinda hot. He chuckled a bit when I stared at him. I blushed and was a bit embarrassed. "Hi Shuichi" I laughed awkwardly a bit "Hello Kaede." "Did you like it?" "I'm really impressed Kaede." I blushed. We stared at each other a bit. "Sorry, you probably want to know what I'm doing here.... uhh I didn't want to hang out in my lab so I took a walk. I heard your beautiful playing and came here." Beautiful? He kept making me blush. "Thank you so much, I really appreciate it." ... "Can I come in?" He asked "Of course!" He walked in and sat down on a bench against the wall. "How do you play that good?" I blushed "Well, I mean it just takes practice really, just perseverance. Aaaaand I've been playing since I was a little kid." "Wow, well you are really good. I'm serious." He smiled at me. "Well, I'm the ultimate pianist after all!" I smiled big "Speaking of ultimate son I'm not the only one who is awesome at what they do!" He blushed at me. "I mean, you are the greatest detective ever so-" "Not the best, nowhere near." He said, seriously, but not sadly. "Yes you are!!!" He laughed "Okay Kaede." We both laughed. "Hey can I teach you how to play piano?" "U-Uhh, sure, I g-guess." "Okay let's do it then!"

Tbh I rushed that ending cause I was tired. I will definitely continue though!! I have a cool idea in my mind. Stay tuned.
