Kaede's Perspective:
Later on, we had continued our day as normal. Thinking about, piano, thinking about being locked up, thinking about Shuichi. I sighed and continued walking around following my normal routine. Shuichi was investigating. Investigating? Huh. He was looking around the school and courtyard, looking for a means of escape. "Shuichi?" "K-Kaede, hi, what's up?" "Nothing really, what are you doing?" "Finding a way out." "I thought we couldn't" "Well, all you want to do is leave, and I promised you I would get you out of here, I'm not giving up hope." I blushed. He looked so cute when he was hopeful. He made me smile.
Shuichi's Perspective:
Kaede... wow, she filled me with hope, she didn't even say anything! "Can I help you then?" "Sure you can Kaede."

We ended up talking more than investigating. Sometimes we walked silently. It wasn't really awkward but comforting. We had unconsciously began holding hands throughout. She made me feel like I was worth something and I filled her with hope just like she did to me.
We walked to her room unconsciously. We were talking and laughing so much I didn't realize. "Well, it's getting kind of late.." "Umm.." Kaede blushed. "You wanna come in?" My eyes widened. "I like hanging out, it's really fun!" She smiled happily and innocently. "S-Sure, I-I'd like that." I walked in and we sat on the couch. She grabbed a blanket and we shared it. She had to scoot closer so she could have some. I offered it all to her but she wanted me to have some. I looked in her eyes, I was lost in them. "What is it?" She laughed. "Oh uhh nothing!" I zoned back in and she turned on the tv. Pretty soon we had gotten tired. I had stood up to leave. Then out of the blue, she took my hat. She giggled and ran around her dorm. "What was that for?" "I don't want you to leave!" She laughed sweetly. I ran after her and grabbed it back. We were standing really close. She looked up at me and then hugged me. I lost my balance a bit and I leaned back on the bed. She was still hugging me. I laughed. I grabbed both of her hands as we awkwardly stood up. "Well, I better get going, it's kinda late." "Okay, fine." She said jokingly. "Wait, Shuichi" "Yes?" She pecked my cheek. My face was red. So was hers. "Goodbye" "..bye" she said blushing.
Oof another short chapter, welp (there might be some fluff in the next chapter.)
