Austin and Ally- Love Comes Around

Hanging

I have my books in the backseat and I am heading to get food. I pull into a pizza and wing place. I park and get out walking inside. I get recognized by a few people and sign and take some pictures. I walk up to the counter and smile, “Hi give me fifty barbeque wings and a large peporinie pizza.” She writes it in then smile, “For here or to go?” I look around, “to go.” She walks off as I sit down waiting for the food.

I feel a tuck on my hand, I look down and see this little girl. When she sees me she smiles wide, “It is you.” I smile, “Yes it is.” She smiles big, “Can I get a picture?” I look up and see her mom behind her, “I’m so sorry she swore it was you and took off running this way before I could stop her.” I smile, “Its okay.” I look down to the little girl, “Why of course?” I pick her up and she sits on my leg as I smile and her mom takes the picture on her phone. I grab a napkin and a pen and sign it for her. “Here you go sweetie.” She smiles wide, “Thank you.” She takes off running again with her mom behind her.

Laughing I turn back around and look to see if anyone is ready with my food yet. Sighing I turn and start walking the television above me. I feel a tap on my shoulder and look down over and see this pretty waitress. “Here is you food.” I grab the bags and stand up, “Thank you.” I go to move and she stands in front of me. “Can I help you?” She tilts her head and smiles at me, “Well…” I sigh and shake my head, “Sorry, I am engaged.” I try to walk around her again but she stops me again. Sighing I look at her, “I don’t mind.” I smile slightly, “Thank you but no thanks. I am happy.” I turn and walk around her and head out to my car.  Placing the food in the passenger seat I get start the car and head home.

Parking in the driveway I grab the food and walk in. I feel arms go around my legs and I look down smiling, “Dadda.” I laugh, “Hey princess.” She smiles at me, “Food?” I nod and she takes off, “momma, food.” I laugh and follow behind her. I see Ally laughing, “I hear you have food.” I smile and hold up the box and bags, “Yep.” She comes over and grabs the food and walks away. I look to the floor and see Alex laying on it. “What are you doing?” He laughs, “Tummy time and dolls.” I look at him crazy, “Aiden is doing tummy time.” He moves slightly and I see Aiden on his stomach on his play mat. “Aubrey wanted to play dolls.” I nod and smile, “Have fun with that.” I turn and head back outside. Opening my back door I grab my books and back pack and close the door walking back inside.

I walk upstairs and place everything on a dresser in my closet. I take my shoes off and put them on the rack before walking back downstairs. I see Alex sitting up with a plate of pizza and wings in his lap and a soda next to him. I see Aubrey with pizza and juice at the living room table. Lastly I see Ally with a plate in her lap and soda on the table with a plate next to it.  “Mine?” she smiles and nods, “Yeah.”

Walking over I grab my plate and sit next to Ally who scoot closers. I smile and throw my arm around her before starting to eat with the other hand. 

Everyone has finished eating. I look around and see Aubrey on a pile of blankets in the corner curled up with her princess doll. I smile as I see she is going to sleep. “Is that normal?” Ally looks over and smiles, “Yeah, she knows when she is tired and goes over there.” I shake my head laughing.

Alex has Aiden doing tummy time again and Ally is laying in my arms. “Are you guys ready to start college soon?” Alex looks up smiling, “Yeah. I cant wait.” Ally smiles at me, “You know I love school.” Kissing her head I smile, “ I know baby.”

We start watching this movie on the Tv when I look at Alex with Aiden and how he keeps checking on Aubrey. He really cares about them. I look down at Ally watching the movie. I smile and look at my kids again, I really do love my family. I wish I was around more.

I look down at Ally then back at Alex, “Alex, when did you want to leave?” He shrugs, “I don’t know.” I look back at Ally and rub the back of my neck, “Maybe you could… uh if you want to umm stay here for a little bit longer. I mean if you want.” He looks at me and then Ally. He looks over at the kids and smiles, “Sure, why not?” I smile, “If you want we can set up the last room upstairs but I think you like the one down here better.” He smiles, “I like the guest room and it will be cool to stay longer. I like it here.” I laugh and shake my head, “You can teach me some tricks and everything. I just thought it would be cool. We could hang.” He smiles and nods.

We start watching the movie again when I realize that our college is a little bit of a drive away from us and that isn’t going to work. We cant stay in dorms because of the kids. I look back at Ally, “Hey what about we look for an apartment or something near school?” She looks up at me, “But I like our house.” I smile, “I do too but what about the drive to school? I figured get an apartment or something near there since we cant do dorms.” She looks around then sighs, “I always wanted to do dorms.” I sigh, “I know baby, I’m sorry.” Alex sits up, “What about you still get your dorm so when you need to get away you can? Then get an apartment or something for you and the kids.” I look at her, “How about that baby?” She shrugs, “It’s a lot of money.” I smile, “Whatever makes you happy.” She smiles, “That can work then.” I laugh and hug her, “Alex what are you doing?” Laughing he turns back to the Tv, “My parents want me to get an apartment, I want dorms.”

Laughing I look at him smile at the dorm part, “So your doing dorms.” He nods and I lean back against the couch, “College is going to be so much fun.” Ally nods against me and Alex throws his hand up, “I hear that.”  I don’t know how I would have done anything without my friends and my beautiful Fiancée. They mean everything to me  and even though I am starting this new adventure soon, I know they will be right there with me through it all. I know I can count on Ally and Alex for anything. I never wanted to like Alex but how can I not? He has been there for it all and I know I can count him to be there. College is going to be fun and I cant wait to start this new adventure.
