"Yes Michael for the third time" I gestured him to stand up and pay for the pizza
*At Maria's House*
Michael waited at the living room entertained by my mom. I can hear them laughing and talking about how we would always spend hours play video games until someone unplugs the system.
I checked my phone and had 3 miss calls from Leonie and a text from an unknown number.
'Please Come' was in the text
I threw my phone to the bed few inches away from me and headed to the bathroom. I look like a complete hot mess. Hair like an afro, makeup like a lunitic and wet clothes.
Grabbing my toothbrush and toothpaste from my mini cabinet and I saw the things that were my only escape before Calum the items that with one use of it I know that will hurt the people I love......cigarette,pocket knife,asprin etc.
*Kind Off a Flashback*
From middle school till high school it wasn't that bright for me compared to other teenage girls. Self harm here self harm there and that life changing moment and also the time I actually first made friends with Calum was at a party thrown by one of the cheerleaders; invited all the year 2 students and it was fun yet Leonie left me hanging since she was dancing with her boyfriend who is now her ex.
I wanted to leave so badly but then I was blocked by some groups of girls dressed up like sophisticated sluts. They threw words that I have heard before a thousand times
"Stupid"
"B*tch"
"Idiot"
"Trash"
"Ugly" lists can go on and on and on...
Outside I showed I didn't care but inside it still f*cking hurts.
Excusing myself from the situation I ran to the bathroom and sat at the toilet with the seat cover. I pour everything, every single tear I could imagine I have.
Having a glimps of a sharp pocket knife I wanted to do it but there was also a fight not to. I picked up the knife and gradually I postioned the knife thinking it would hurt me less than what I have experieced 3 years of my life.
Suddenly someone opened the door. I squeled. It was the boy from the football team and also music class.
"Maria?!" He looked worried and took the knife from my hand
"HEY!" I yelled trying to snatch it back "You dont have to do it"
"I need too!"
"Nothing will change, if you do it"
"Yes it will! I finally dont have to live this damn world!" tears ran down my face as I try not to make them escape ashamed at the boy infront of me who maybe actually cares
"Maria there is better in life than this"
"What?!" "Getting bullied? Scared of coming early to school, trying to ignore everyone?!" "I'M DONE!!"
"Dont you think about the people who actually cares?"
I stared at him trying to figure out who actually cares
"I guess..."
"Who?"
"My family" "Wait...WHY DO YOU CARE?"
"Because......i care about you"
"How? We barely know each other? Other than names but thats it"
"I know it sounds creepy but Maria every single day I see you late walkin gcc nz g the halls afraid of anything that can happen, when you face someone your hands become shakey but there was particular time I saw you happy, full of happiness and it is whem you enter either the music room or the volleyball court"
"Oh...have been stalking me?"
"Maybe in a good way, because I care and Maria you can get through it with someone or atleast your family it's possible"
Else
"Thank you Hood."
"It's Calum, you can call me also Cal"
"I apreciate your care and concern so much!" I ran to him and gave Ahim a tight hug
"Can that hug be a sign of friendship?"
"Well yeah!"
"Lets make a deal in this friendship, no one will be hurt and we will be honest a nd loyal to this pack forever and ever!" Calum preached
"Okay..Cal"
"DEAL?"
"DEAL!"
*End flashback*
