The Start of Something New.

Chapter 7:

Paige's P.O.V

Frank obviously thinks I'm stupid. Little does he know, I can escape at any moment when he is gone. I have a secret knife hidden in my belt that I can easily reach. Right now Frank is asleep on the bed. I'm stuck in this damn chair until he desides to leave and what not. Let's see how long it will take him to get out of here.

Tj's P.O.V

"Luke have you seen your mom?" I ask.

"No, haven't seen her. Maybe she went to get some food?" Luke replies.

"Okay. I'll check in the cafeteria." I say back.

I walk down to the cafeteria and ask everyone in there if they have seen Paige. They all answer no. No one has went out on a run yet. Even if they did, she would tell me. Ever since we left Bourbon, Paige actually tells me where she's going from now on. Even if it's just to check on Nikki.

"Wait... Where's Frank?" I whisper to myself

"Daddy when's mommy going to be back?" Audrey asks.

"Soon." I reply.

I just feel so bad for that kid. She sleeps by Paige all the time and this is the first morning in a while that Audrey hasn't woke up to her mom by her side.

"Luke, I need you to stay here with Maddi, Audrey, Nikki, and Jamie. Got me?" I tell him.

"Yeah, sure dad." Luke replies.

"Mitch, come on. We're looking for your mom. You know how she is. Keep and eye out for Frank. He's tried getting your mom before. I think he may have got her this time." I tell him. He nods in understading and we go look for Paige.

This will be some scavenger hunt.

Paige's P.O.V

Frank finally desides to leave. I grab my knife off my belt and start messing with the cuffs. It takes me about five minutes for each.

I run out the door where there are walkers everywhere. I see Frank walk into the building and I have to climb up a tall building just to get to my room, although I'm good at sneaking around.

I finally climb the ladders on the back of the building and get to my room.

"Mommy!!!!!!" I hear Audrey screaming and running to me.

"Hi baby! I missed you so much!" I tell her.

Nikki looks a little freaked that I came in through the window instead of the door. But she runs up to me anyway. The only two people I don't see are Tj and Mitch.

"Luke. Where's Mitch and your father?" I ask him.

"They kinda went looking for you..." Luke replies back to me as if he was scared to answer my question. "What happened to your arm, mom?"

"Frank." I say to him. "I'll stay here. You go look for your brother and father. Got me?"

"I got you." Luke says as he grabs a gun and goes out the door.

Mitch's P.O.V

How hard is it to find my mom in one place?

"Mitch! Dad!" I hear Luke and turn around to face him.

"Luke what are you doing here?" Dad asks.

"Mom. She's back." Luke says and runs to their room. "Come on!"

Me and my dad dart to our room and see Paige sitting on a chair holding Audrey on her lap. She has a cut on her head and blood down her face. What happened?

"Mom where have you been?" I run up and hug her.

"Frank go--" Mom said before she fainted.

"Frank what mom?" I yell to her. "Mom! Mom! Answer me!" I shake her trying to awake her. She doesn't budge.

"Mitch what happened to mommy?" Audrey says starting to cry.

"No, no, no. Audrey, mommy's fine. She just fell asleep. No need to worry, okay? Go see Nikki." I tell her.

Dad picks up Paige and sets her on their bed. He gets a rag and get's the blood off her face and looks at the mark from where she was hit I'm guessing. He sees her arm and puts a bandage on both wounds, then he just sits on the floor holding her hand waiting for her to wake up.

                                                                **Three hours later**

Mom finally wakes up and tells us all what happened to her. She got really weak and dehydrated so we had Maddi go down to the cafeteria to get her some food and water.

"So what happened mom?" I ask her.

"Frank had put some sleeping pills in a drink that the lunch ladies had gave me. He took me to the shed outside-" She looks at my dad as he is giving her 'the look', "no he didn't touch me in a bad way. He touched my higher thigh and would rub my leg. I spit in his face and he hit me with a galss bottle in the head. When he left, that's when I figured that I could brake the cuffs that he had put on me. I climbed up the back ladder and now I'm here." My mother said.

My father waited a moment to speak up again then he finally spoke up.

"I'll be back." Tj said.

"Where are you going babe?" Paige asked.

"To kill Frank." He replied back to her.

"Well then I'm going too. I ca-"

"No, Paige! You just got back even though it was one or two days! I'm not letting you go out there!" Tj inturrupted. Paige nodded and started playing with Audrey again.
