The Start of Something New.

Chapter 8:

Tj's P.O.V

Paige just got back and told everyone what had happened. I desided that I was going to go take a kill myslef. I see Frank eating and wait for him to put his tray up before I go talking to him. Why my wife though? There are plenty of single girls here for him. So why my NOT single girl?

Frank finally got done eating and he starts to walk outside. I catch up to him and walk with him to the shed. I talk to him about when everyone would go on a run and stuff.

"Frank, do you know where Paige is?"  I ask him.

"Uhh," Frank says before speaking again, "I have no clue, Tj. I thought she was in your room?"

We finally get into the shed and his eyes are all huge.

"Anything wrong?" I say smiling. He now knows that I know.

"N-, no. I'm fine." He says walking toward the door before looking back at the chair he once had Paige in.

I bring out my knife and walk up to him slowly. I guess he heard me and brought a gun to my face. "You bring her to me, or get shot." He said as he brings the gun to my face. Next thing I know, I see Nikki behind Frank and she shot him in the head.

"Nikki what are you dong here? I thought you were with your mom?" I ask her.

"I knew what you were doing and I figured that something was wrong." She says to me. I pick her up and go back to our room. I see Paige was still playing with Audrey. Maddi and Luke are taking care of their baby, Jamie.

"Nikki, I thought you said you were going to the cafeteria?" Paige asked her.

"I needed to check on dad." Nikki replies back to her. I put my hand on her head and give her a kiss on her temple. She stands there with her bright blue eyes and smiles. She has the same eyes as her mom. So beautiful and bright.

Later that day we all go to the cafeteria and grab some dinner. I go and get Paige and me some food while the rest of the kids go and get theirs. I got Paige some water so that she could stay on her feet.

"Really? I have to have this water again?" She asked me laughing.

"Why what's wrong with it?" I say back to her with a smile on my face.

"I want Dr. Pepper." She says. Those bright blue eyes work good because for the rest of the day of having Dr. Pepper she was fine.

Later that day, me and Paige desided to go out and go shooting for the day. Some of the walkers, she missed. I think that the cuts on her body are slowing her down. She passes out every now and then, but then she'll wake up in about fifteen minutes.

"How are you feeling?" I asked Paige.

"Well, better than I did with that jackass." She replied. She gave me a quick smile and it fadded quickly.

"Wh- what's wrong?" I ask her.

"It's just," She pauses and then speaks again, "I don't know how I feel at this place. People will start to wonder about Frank." She then puts a hand on the cut just above her temple.

"I"'ll talk to Trent about what happened. He'll understand and he will tell the whole group what had happend." I say. Paige stumbles over her foot and lands on the ground. I run over to her.

"Paige are you okay?" I ask her. She doesn't answer me.

"Let me look at the cuts."

"No!" She says to me.

"Paige, I gotta see them! I have to see if there's something wrong!"

She looks at me and then agrees to let me see the cuts.

"Paige! Your head is terrible!" I yell at her. "We have to find someone to get this cleard up." She agrees and I help her up to take her to her brother, Trent.

"Trent there's something wrong with Paige. Frank kidnapped her and handcuffed her to a chair out in the shed. She broke loose and came through our window. Before she escaped, he hit her in the head with a bottle and now she passes out and she just fell to the ground. We need help!" I tell him.

"Jason!" Trent yells. "Jason was a doctor before this all happened." I nod and let Jason look at Paige's head.

"She has a concussion and her head needs stitched up." Jason says to me.

"Well get her stitched up! I can't lose her!" I say to Jason. He does as I say and tells me that we need to get her some pain medicine. Me and Trent deside to go and get her more of her depression and pain medicine. We get back and she is asleep back in our room. I walk over to her and shake her softly. She mumbles something and goes back to sleep.

"Paige, you gotta take these." I say smiling. She gets up, takes them, and goes back to sleep. I tell Trent that she's okay and that she just fell back asleep. He goes back to whatever he is doing and I stay here with Paige. Our kids are out killing the walkers, but Jamie is sleeping in her little crib. I go and check on her every once in a while.

It has now been a few hours and Paige finally woke up. She plays with Jamie and takes care of her so that Maddi and Luke could have a break. Maddi and Luke are going on a run, but they said they'll be back soon. The rest of the kids are down at the cafeteria to get something to eat. We think it's fine now that Frank is dead. Everyone now knows what he did to Paige and why I killed him. They understood.

"How are you feeling?" I ask Paige. She looks at me and smiles.

"Doing better than I was before." She replies. "I'm just lucky nothing too bad happened to me." She sets Jamie down in her crib and walks over to me and sits on my lap.

"I'm glad that you're back." I say to her.

She kisses me and says, "I am too."
