his alarm went of signaling the begning of another day in the hell hole people generaly refered to as school. and today was one of the days simon hopes that either the student body had amnesia or he had a serious illness so him mom would let him stay at home. it was his junior home coming. simon got dressed after showering and went down stairs to eat breakfast with his mom and his older sister reck.
he ran to catch the bus and thankfully today was one of the days the driver was having a good morning so he waited when he saw simons lanky figure ran to the door. simon sat in an empty sit around the middle and he gazed out the window.
when they finally reached the school students ran out of the bus like they were being chased with some one holding a jacksaw. simon got of the bus smiling at his own thought and made in to the halls where he was met with the jumbled voices of the students greating there friends.
simon walked to his locker and disposed of the books he won't be needing till lunch time. that was when his pepy best friend made her presense known.
"your late" she said as a form of greeting
"good morning to you too. and i take the bus here every day, fray. i'm always here at the same time" he replied closing his locker
"o.k. good moring to you too grumpy lewis" she said smirking
"what ever you know i hate this dances" he said as they started to make there was towards there classes
"oh i do have good knews about that isabell asked me out so you can bail" she said making him sigh. he was secretly hoping he could see a certain blond haired and handsome lacross captain at the dance but now he had no date he couldn't go. guess he shouldn't have whined that much
"good for you, fray. see you later" he said and made his way to his english lit class he loved lit one because he was actually good at it and two becaude jace wayland was in his class.
he sat down next to the window in his usuall sit starting out the window thinking if one of his friends would be his last minute date.
"this sit taken?" asked a voice asked a voice that startled him from his deep thought. he looked up to see a wrecked jace look at him.
"no it not" he barely replied before the teacher come in. and unfortunately he didn't talk to simon for the rest of the class. after that it was the same ritual as the rest of the days till lunch time. jace walked towards simon and his groups table.
"can i talk to you?" jace asked and simon followed him to the bleachers after giving him a nod
"whats wrong?" simon asked. jace didn't reply which freacked simon out
"are you ok?" simon asked again
"sebastian broke up with me" jace said that wasn't what simon was expecting to hear.
you see as well as being strikingly handsome and having a heart warming personality jace wayland was a pansexual.
"oh...i'm sorry" simon replied
"aren't you gonne aske me why?" jace asked hopefully
"do you want me to?" simon asked taking the blank look on jace's blank look he sighed and asked "why?"
"because he figured out i was only dating him so i won't run back into your arms" jace repiled
"jace...." simon started
"please, si-. i can't leave with out you any more i'm going crazy i know i didn't want to come out to my friends when we were together but please i'll do what ever you'll ask me but please no more don't egnore me any more" jace begger
"a year. we were together for a year and you wouldn't even let me tell clary but you...with sebastian you were official since day one. why? because i wasn't popular?" simon asked
"si- baby please" jace said weekly
"i can't let me be jace" simon said and turned to walk away
"i love you" jace said and simon froze in his tracks before turning around
"what did you say?" simon asked
"i love you. i know i never said it before but dammit simon i lo- mgh" he couldn't finish the sentence because simons lips against him.
"thats not fair" simon muttered once he got controll over him self
"i missed you" jace said pulling simon close by his waist but before he could reconnect there lips simon spoke
"its not gonne go back to how it used to be" simon said
"i'm ok with that" jace spoke
"and we have to be official" simon added
"from this second on i'm anounce to the world if you want me to" jace replied
"and you have to meet my mom and becka"simon wnt on jace nodded kissing simons jaw
"a-and you have to treat me right" simon finished weekly
"i promise you. cross my heart hope to die" jace swore before claiming simons lips.

And that night at the dance simon didn't watch the man he love from the shadows instead he was the center of attention with his boyfriends arms around him.
"i love you" jace whispered to him as they dance together
"i love you too" simon replied contempt to at last say the words he's been holding back for to long
