Chapter 5

Pass forward- the day of river cruise

I got up of bed and got ready for school like any normal day, laze around for the first half an hour and then rush to get ready with only 5 minutes before school starts. As I ran to the bathroom, I pass by my dress which I hanged with a sticky note stating that today was D-day for the river cruise.

Although I don't like socializing, I do want to have some fun. After all, that is where dramas happens.

After getting ready for school, I spent the next 10 minutes in the car, being lectured by my mom for not getting prepared for school earlier, I went to class and did all my usual stuff. Going to class, see Chen flirting with Jisoo, watch Chen giving advice to Suga to hit on Mina, see Irene go crazy cause she wants the day to end faster so it would be at the evening and they can go party at the river cruise. 

"Jae, are you sure you aren't coming to my house to get ready?"Irene asked

"Nah, I need to go home. I didn't even bring my dress for the river cruise." I said with a big smile on my face

"Well ok then..."Irene said with an unsure tone as she went home with Mina following her back home.

"Yo, so am I picking you up?"Chen said as he stood beside me

"Nah, I'll walk over, "I said.

My first plan was to ask him to pick me up since he lived close to my house, but who knew that he lived 3 houses away from me.

"Meet you at 5?"

"Yea sure."He said with a smile on his face

After that, I left school and went back home. I manage to get everything is done at 4:59 while going through the girly period of being excited for the night to panic cause everything is going wrong and i don't have enough time to getting done with life and not wanting to go anymore. Who thought that being a girl is so troublesome. I had to put on makeup, wear a weird dress that I don't even know if I'm wearing it correctly and do my hair with tons of hair spray. I can't believe, no I strongly believe that I am tired before the river cruise.

"OK! All Done~"My makeup artist sings as she admires her artwork.

"You would go crazy during the river cruise and you would ruin my pretty art piece. Keep these makeup with you so you could patch it up ."She said as she hands it over with an 'if you lose my make up you lose your life' look.

Looking at the time I ran out with a 8-9(?)inch high hill and went to Chen's house. Although it was just 3 houses away, me not being used to high heels took each step as a challenge. a 1-minute walk turned to a 5-minute walk.

"What the heck, Jae?"I heard a familiar voice and turned around only seeing Chen all dressed up, cocking his hair back.

"Brah, what the heck, you look gay as hell!"I ran and scanned his whole body back and forth.

"You too man, You girls made such a big deal about the whole river cruise thing I thought that you would go there with full armor prom type makeup and stuff."He joked.

I silence him off with a punch in his guts and went into his house, after greeting his parents we left the house and went to the city.

"Jae?" I heard someone calling me as soon as I came off the car. It was Irene, she was really pretty. Like legit, it's like there is a light somewhere shinning at her, my eyes were going blind.Just like Irene, I had the same problem when I saw Mina and the rest of the gang. They were all so good looking that it made me a little out of place.

"Damn, you look good!" Irene came running to me and gave me a big bear hug, breaking me from my thoughts

"WTF, you guys look so different from normal!"I said as I laughed.
