What I have failed to tell anyone is that I have already called the Police and told them about the situation. Unfortunately, they'll be too late, and I have a feeling in the pit of my stomach that the Police think it is too late too. They said they would be in touch with me after school, but that could be hours too late. Luckily, I am in Clair's Commerce class, which means I can talk to her and tell her what she needs to do. The bell rings, indicating the end of period one, and thankfully, the end of maths. I am the first to leave the classroom and I dart to my Commerce class.

No Clair. Where is she?

Far out. No Clair! Should I skip class, pretend I'm absent, and search for her? Or, should I stay in class, not knowing where she is? Should I tell my teacher, Mr. Roy? Or should I not tell any teacher about the situation because it's none of their business? I heard Joanne and Michael talk to Mrs. Franklin about the situation, which is probably a smart move because someone needs to know about the situation. I decide I will tell stay away from class to try to find Clair.

But what if the school goes into lockdown?

Fine.

Mr. Roy approaches, so I ask him if I can go to the toilet. Surprisingly, he says its okay. He looks depressed, and I wonder if his depression has something to do with Clair. After all, he is her roll call teacher! I take my bag with me, despite Mr. Roy telling me to leave it behind. I walk straight to the girl's toilets, where I peer inside the tinted windows to see if Clair's inside. Nope, but it doesn't mean she's not inside. Ignoring the fact that some of the girls are still in the bathroom, I open the door and walk in. The girls love me, they won't mind! Wow, the girl's toilets are heaps different from the boy's toilets! They are so clean and tidy compared to the boy's toilets! Anyway, I call Clair's name and search all the empty cubicles, but still no Clair. The remaining girls in the toilets stare at me in horror, so I smile back weakly at them. They both look despondent ever since I said Clair's name which probably isn't a good sign. I bolt out of the girl's toilets and think to where Clair may decide to hide next, but my mind is blank. I decide to search around the entire school, if that what it takes to find her. Just as I walk past the boy's toilets, I hear the familiar, squeaky voice of Ms. Pestel.

"What are you doing Jonathan?" Ms. Pestel asks.

Oh great. I forgot about a detention I had to serve.

"Going back to class," I lie.

"Rubbish!" Ms. Pestel snaps.

"Um..." I start. "W...well..."

"Do-"

"Iwas ona message!" I blurt out. Ms. Pestel looks at me blankly.

"Bluh buh bluh message!" she taunts. "Speak clearer!"

Ms. Pestel is giving me her death stare with her hands on her hips. After all, she hates me.

"I...was...on...a....message," I say slowly, emphasising the word 'message'.

Judging by the look on her face, Ms. Pestel still doesn't believe me. Ms. Pestel is about to yell at me, when I say something I totally regret.

"Clair Patrick is getting severely cyb-"

Before I finish the sentence, I burst into tears. The tears flood down my cheeks as I continue bawling my eyes out. Ms. Pestel stares at me with an evil grin that she is struggling to contain. Maybe she wanted to see me cry.

"See Jonathan," she says in a placid voice that makes me feel uncomfortable. "Don't try to make things up. They get you know where sweetie. Finally, you have learned your lesson, but you still have to serve your detention."

"I'm n-not making things up-p!" I sob. "Clair Patrick is getting really badly cyber bullied and is getting death threats a-a-!"

"Stop trying to make things up!" Ms. Pestel snaps.

"B-bu-"

"No, you're doing it again."

"No, I'm not making things up!" I holler.

"Yes you are, yes you are," Ms. Pestel taunts with a smile.

I lose control of my attitude.

"If you weren't such a b%^&*, you'd believe me!"

And with that, the smile is wiped off Mrs. Pestel's face. I decide it wouldn't be a bad time to run, so I do.
