Chapter 6

Jacks POV
"Hey so there's this party tomorrow and we were all planning on going so I was wondering if you wanted to go with me ?" I hesitantly ask.
"Go with you...like a date ?" She asks sounding slightly confused.
"Uh y- yeah" I look down at the floor and back up and meet with her eyes. Please say yes please say yes please say yes.
"Yeah I don't see why not" She says with a cute little smile on her face.
"Y- you have a really cute smile" She looks down at blushes.
"Thanks"
"Hey so anyways like I was saying" Daniel says before I could say anything back "I can teach you how to play anytime I mean I am right down the hall so come in anytime"
"Play what" Jonah says as he sits in between
y/n and daniel.
"Oh I just wanted to learn how to play guitar" Y/n said.
"Oh cool, nice to know you guys are all getting along" Jonah says. Corbyn sits next to me.
"Yep some of us a little more than others" Corbyn says nudging my arm and winks. I roll my eyes at him.
"Yoooo anyone up for a game!?" Zach shouts as he enters the room.
"Yuh yuh yuh I'm down" Corbyn shouts back.
We rearranged the way we sat to be seated in a circle on the ground.
"I feel like i'm in kindergarten, why are we on the floor again?" Jonah asks
"Why not" Zach simply says. Jonah rolls his eyes and sits next to y/n. I sat across from her, Daniel next to her, Corbyn next to Jonah, and Zach next to Daniel.
"Um so what is it we're playing?" I ask as I take off my hat, revealing my messy hair which I put up in a bun. As I was putting it up I look up and caught y/n staring at me. She turned away and blushed right as we made eye contact.
"Truth or dare ?" Zach hesitantly says.
"That's such a boring game though" Jonah whines.
Y/n's POV
"Yeah well that's too bad we're playing it anyways" Zach says, Jonah rolls his eyes and agrees to play with the rest of us. "Alright, I'll start, Daniel truth or dare" Corbyn says.
"Truth"
"Have you ever had a crush on your best friends sibling?" Corbyn says with a small yet visible smirk on his face. Daniel glances over at me for a quick second before responding, while looking down embarrassed.
"Yeah.."
"Ooh tea has been spilled" Jack says smiling as he nudging Daniels arm as all of us laugh at his comment. I noticed the cute way Jack's nose scrunches up when he smiles and laughs which I thought was hella adorable.
"Anywaysss moving on... Jonah truth or dare"
"Oh you already know , dare."
"Alright I dare you to run outside and flip your phone and catch it and run back inside in less than 10 seconds" Daniel says. Jonah sighs and says "I swear Daniel you have a phone flipping problem"
"I think we've noticed by now" Jack Zach and Corbyn said at the same time. Jonah did the dare successfully after 4 tries. We continued playing truth or dare for the rest of the night until around 3 am when we all decided to get to sleep. Me and Jack were the last ones to go upstairs to our rooms so we walked up together.
"Goodnight y/n sweet dreams" He said as he pulled me into a hug, he rested his chin on top of my head while i layed my head against his chest. We stayed like that for a minute or two until he pulled apart, his face was bright red but it was adorable how shy he was.
"Goodnight Jack" I stand on my tippy toes to give him a peck on the cheek and walk into my room. I flop onto my bed smiling thinking about the fun we'll have at that party tomorrow as I fell asleep wrapped up in my blankets.
