Daniel's POV "Baby boo?" I asked to stop thinking about her. "Yeah that's what she called me when we were still together" Jack said rolling his eyes and deleting the messages. "Wow that's pretty cringy" I responded. "Yeah. She's just so fucking annoying and won't leave me alone" Jack said while burying his head in his hands. Y/n gave him a small side hug "Just ignore her and you'll be fine, she should be over you by now if she cheated on you" Y/n said before she pulled away from side hugging him, Jonah had his eyes on them the whole time. He's too overprotective sometimes. "Yeah I guess your right I'll just ignore her as best as I can" Jack said lifting his head out his hands and returning the hug to y/n. Seeing them so happy together hurt me so much but I couldn't tell anyone that. I leaned against the arm rest and began scrolling through instagram liking a few edits fans made. Limelights are so talented I thought to myself as I continued scrolling and answering a few dms. After about an hour everyone is downstairs in the living room on their phone when Jack gets up and goes to his room. A few minutes later he walks out in his outfit.

"Where you going Jack?" Zach asks as Jack began to pick up his skateboard, causing y/n to look up from her phone at him. "I'm gonna go skate for a bit, it helps me relax" He said as he walked into the kitchen to grab his wallet and phone from where he left it. Y/n got up and went into the kitchen. Y/N's POV I got up to the kitchen to say bye to Jack. We stood at an angle so we couldn't be seen from behind the fridge to the living room. "I'll be back soon don't worry" He said before leaning in to give me a quick kiss which I returned. "Okay don't take too long and be safe" I said before giving him one more kiss. He walked out the kitchen and to the front door. "Bye guys" "Bye!" They all said jack before he closed the door. I sat back down on the couch next to Dani and started scrolling through instagram. I turned to late my legs on the empty space on the couch where Jack was earlier, I leaned back on Daniel's left arm but he didn't mind. ——time skip 2 hours —— I started getting bored without Jack being here so me and Daniel decides to go to Burger King and get oreo milkshakes. I walked out the door and into Daniel's car and waited for him to get in. "Guys if you want anything just call me we're gonna go to Burger King" Daniel shouted at the guys while closing the house door. He walked over and got into the car. He looked at my outfit "Ayyyeeeee were matching kinda" Daniel said sounding excited. I looked at his outfit then mine and realized we kinda were "Oh wow we actually are" We both looked into each others eyes and started laughing. After about 2 minutes of laughing we drove off to Burger King. Daniel ordered our shakes and the cashier was a woman in her late 30's and said "So 2 milkshakes for the cute couple...that'll be 6 dollars" "Oh um w- we aren't a couple" Daniel said while handing her the money with a faint shade of red appearing on his face. "Oh sorry. Your milkshakes will be out soon" We went to sit at a small booth and sat across from eachother. It only took about 5 minutes to get our shakes. We stayed there until we finished our milkshakes. Once we both finished we sat in the car talking for a while. "Daniel can I tell you something but you can't tell anyone else" I say randomly" "Ok? What is it" "Me and Jack are together" I say excitedly. "Oh you are" He said sounding a little disappointed "Thats great y/n I'm so happy for you two" He said sounding slightly happier. "Thanks!" I said giving him a smile he returned. "Hey you know the skate park Jack is at is only a block away, wanna hang out with him?" "Yeah sure! Only if you fine with it" I said getting excited "Of course I'm fine with it why else would I offer going" He said with a small chuckle. He turners the car on and we drove to the skate park. We took about 5 minutes to get to where everyone was and started looking for him. He wasn't in sight. After a few minutes of searching we started to give up. While standing on the grass next to an open area there were couples around us. Daniel stood in front of me, slightly blocking the sight of the couple in the distance behind him making out. "Hey I don't think he's here maybe we should start going back?" I ignored what he said and stared at the couple behind him. I knew who that was, I could recognize those curls anywhere. It was Jack and another girl making out. It took a minute to realize what was happening, Daniel turned around to see what I was so focused on as soon as he saw he had a shocked expression on his face. I felt my heart shattering into a million tiny little pieces. Daniel turned back around to me, they continued kissing. Dani pulled me into a tight hug and whispered in my ear "Y/n don't look it'll only hurt you more" I felt tears began to stream down my face as I hugged him even tighter hiding my face in his chest. I heard camera clicks, probably just fans taking pictures....great now there's gonna be drama. I slightly pulled my head away from his chest and look up at his ocean eyes "Daniel can we go home. Please" He simply nodded in response and we walked off to the car. I tried hiding my faces from the cameras surrounding us but it didn't work very well. We got into the car and he drove off. The car ride was quiet, the only sound heard was me crying. He said he loved me why would he do this. Who was she? Maybe I just wasn't good enough for him. Of course how could I ever be enough for THE Jack Avery. Why did I ever believe him, why. I thought to myself while staring out the window with blurry vision from all the tears in my eyes. We pulled up into the driveway and saw Jack skating on the sidewalk to the house. We got inside before he did. "Guys I don't feel so good so I'm gonna be up in my room if you need anything" I said which was a lie but they believed it. "Alright let me know if you want anything" Jonah says. "Yeah and let us know when you feel better" Corbyn said. "Yeah and I hope you feel better, trying getting some rest" Zach said. I gave them a weak smile and nodded then went up to my room to continue to cry. Daniel stayed downstairs. Dani's POV —meanwhile downstairs— I can't believe Jack would do that. Jack of all people the person I would least expect to cheat on someone cheated. The fact that he cheated on y/n with Gabbie makes it even worse. He said he was down with her. How could he do this to y/n. He's such a fucking asshole for this. Jack walked in and I immediately got angry. I really wanted to shout at him right now but had to hold back the urge to do so. I couldn't just tell everyone Jack cheated on y/n after a few days of even being together. "What took you so long" I asked pretending I didn't know what he was busy doing. "Oh I uh ran into my friend um Derek while there and we decided to catch up for a while" He said acting innocent. "Oh cool. You didn't happen to run into anyone else" I ask. "Uh no" He said with a confused expression on his face. I gave him a death stare, I'm pretty sure everyone could sense the tension. "Where's y/n" Jack said, finally noticing she wasn't here after 5 minutes. "She's upstairs she wasn't feeling too well" Jonah responds before anyone else had the chance to. "Oh that sucks" He said while putting his skateboard by the door against the wall. "I'm gonna go up and check on her" He said as he headed for the stairs. "I'll come too" I say as I basically jump off of the couch and follow behind Jack. "Ok" He said as he continued going up the stairs. We knocked at the door. Y/N's POV Knock knock "Come in" I shouted even though it was muffled by the pillow my face was in. I turned around and saw Daniel and Jack walking into my room and both sat in opposite sides of my bed. I sat up revealing the hoodie I was wearing, it was Daniel's favorite blue one. Jack stared at it for a few seconds before his eyes met my eyes, I looked down right away. "Y/n what's wrong" Jack said as he scooted closer and wrapped his arm around my waist, bringing me closer to him. I looked up at Dani who nodded, telling me to confront him about it. Jack looked and me then Daniel then back at me. "Jack...." I said while slightly scooting away from him. "Yeah?" "Who is she?" I said trying to hold back my tears while looking into his eyes. We held eye contact as a few tears started falling down my cheeks as I tried to not completely break down right then and there. "Who?" Jack said sounding nervous but still acting innocent. "The gir-" I got cut off by Daniel "She fucking means Gabbie you idiot. Why were you two making out at that fucking skate park. Cheating is such a dick move Jack" Daniel shouted at Jack but not too loud so that they wouldn't hear downstairs. "Wait that was...Gabbie" I asked looking up at Daniel's ocean eyes, he didn't say anything but nodded. "Oh you saw that.....?" Jack said while still looking at me. All I did was nod yes and so did Dani. "Y/n I'm so sorry I know it looked like I cheated on you but that's not what happened it's not what happened at all-" "Jack what the fuck do you mean 'that's not what happened' I saw you Jack. I saw your hands around her and hers around you can't just say it's not what happened because it did happen. Your just as bad as Nathan, I should've never caught feelings for you, I should've been a better sister to Jonah and not go against his back to be with his cheating best friend" I shout at him, I could tell that last part hurt him but it was true. "Y/n please we can fix this, I love you and I don't want to lose you" Jack said and reaches for my hands put I pulled them back. "No Jack. You don't love me, if you did you wouldn't have cheated on me with the girl that cheated on you. So just do me a favor and fuck off" I said, now in full in tears.
