Chapter 5

Jacks POV
Everyone was singing along to all the songs that came out on the radio. Meanwhile Zach kept teasing me about liking y/n. Not gonna lie....i was starting to have feelings for her, i know i'm not supposed to but i can't help it. She's so sweet and pretty and deserves to have such a great life and i just want to help her with that. As Jonah kept driving I noticed so many small details about her, the way she scrunches up her nose and tilts her head slightly back when she laughs was adorable. When she gets nervous she avoids eye contact and looks down. When she laughs to hard she leans to the side to catch her breath again. When she-
"Jack your staring again" He says causing me to come back to reality. A little startled at first
"H-how long was i staring?" I ask nervously.
"Only about 5 minutes you creep" Zach says while letting out a small laugh. "You really like her don't you"
"N- no and even if i did it's not like we could be together you know how Jonah is"
"Jack your lying to yourself if you say your not already crazy in love with her everyone noticed it well obviously except you Jonah and her. Bro your eyes light up when you see her, when ever she smiles you smile, i've never seen you like this." He was right. I did love her, not that she would ever love me back. Jonah began to pull up into the drive way of our house.
"I think i do love her" I said in a slight whisper barely loud enough for Zach to hear.
"Really? i haven't noticed" Zach said in a sarcastic tone, i gave him a playful punch on the arm and laugh. By the time we got there it was already dark and so we all went inside and into the living room. Y/n sat on the couch on her phone. I was starving so i went into the kitchen to get some food. I grabbed a bowl of chips and looked over to see y/n and Daniel sitting together on the couch.
"Hey Jack ya know if you really like her you should make a move sooner, it looks like Daniel likes her too" Corbyn unexpectedly said, slightly scaring me. (lol)
"I know but i just don't know how, it feels like someone is just always watching. And what if Jonah finds out-"
"So what if he finds out. As long as you make each other happy it should be fine, right?"
"Yeah i guess your right"
"Good. Oh and Zach's friend invited us all to some house party, take y/n and make your move there!" Corbyn said with a huge smile.
"Alright I'll try to, when's this party?"
"Tomorrow at 8"
"Ok thanks!"
"Anything for my bowl of ramen noodles" He said smiling as he lightly punched my arm and walked away. I went to sit beside y/n on the couch and turned around to see Corbyn give a quick wink. I took a deep breath in and wrapped my arm around her shoulder, bringing her closer to me. Surprisingly she didn't pull away but leaned in closer I left out a slight sigh of relief.
"Hey so there's this party tomorrow..."
