Chapter 3𑁍Rooftop

Still sitting on the roof I feel myself to slowly daze off. "Hey lets get you home. You look pretty sleepy." He says as he picks me up and starts walking to the exit. "You don't have to carry me." I said dozing in and out not really knowing what I'm saying. "What's your apartment number?" He says struggling to get through the little pathway the leads back to the apartment. "412." I say completely letting go and letting darkness take over me.

I wake up in bed wondering how I got here. I could've sworn I fell asleep on the roof. But then I finally remembered that Daniel brought me to my bed last night because I fell asleep on him. I looked to the left to find a note from Daniel.

Just in case you forgot last night I brought you to your room because you fell asleep on me. Btw you look really cute when you're asleep

Well now I'm embarrassed. I fell asleep on Daniel then he called me cute. Maybe Daniels growing on me, just a bit. He's really cute and we've been getting along quite well together. And I may be developing a small crush on him.

I woke up at around 7:00 am and decided to go to the coffee shop across my apartment named Beans Coffee Shop, so I decided to go there and chill for a bit. It was my old hangout before I started to go to the roof.  I decided to take my favorite book Paper Towns by John Green. It's been my favorite book for years and I've read it at least a thousand times, and I'll never get tired of it. Once I finally got there I ordered just a nice plain coffee. It's simple but hey what am I? Simple. I sit down and read to about page ten before I hear the bell ringing showing that someone had walked in. It was weird though, no one usually ever comes to this coffee shop. I ignore it and keep reading my book. I hear steps getting close but I just thought some one was about to leave since I was in the booth right next to the door, but no I looked up to see a beautiful blue eyed boy in front of me. I smile as I get lost in his ocean eyes. "Zella, Zella Brexly!" Daniel said as he tried to get my back into this world. "Oh. Sorry." I said awkwardly hoping he didn't know what just happened. "I know, I know 'I get lost in your eyes, so be sure to map them out first." Daniel said giggling at the end. "You weren't supposed to see that." I said blushing putting my head down. "Hey, look up you look cute when you blush." He said making me blush even harder. (Just imagine Zach's cheeks.) I looked up slowly and saw Daniels beautiful smile smiling bigger than I've ever saw before. "Hey I know a place here in LA we can go for a adventure." Daniel said as he stood up reaching out his hand for mine. "Actually I know a whole bunch of places, maybe we can have a day of adventures." I stood up taking Daniels hand agreeing not having anything to do today. "Here we're taking my car." Daniel says pointing his head towards his car. "You seriously drove here when you live right across the street." I laughed. How can someone be so lazy? "WHAT? I'm a lazy person." Daniel says trying to defend himself. I laugh and Daniel yells "Hey come over here and stop laughing at me." I laugh once again but I start walking to his car. I hopped into the passenger seat and reached for the seat belt but Daniel had the same thought and my hand was gently on top of his. He blushed then buckled me in and said "Always gotta be safe." He looks down and I think this is the perfect moment. "HeY lOoK uP yOu LoOk CuTe WhEn YoU bLuSh." I said imitating Daniels words from earlier. "Ha ha, very funny." Daniel said turning the key in the ignition. He gripped the wheel then looked at me "This is about to be one hell of an adventure."
