Chapter 6𑁍Rooftop

I woke up panicking noticing I was not in my house, but then I looked over and saw Daniel move in his sleep. Oh right, I stayed at Daniels last night. I grabbed my phone and scrolled through my notifications. I saw a text from my mom so I decided to open it just because it could be important. I looked down at the text and started panicking. MY MOM WENT INTO LABOR. I completely forget half of the time that she was pregnant. I'm having a panic attack while Daniel is peacefully asleep beside me. I looked over at him and started shaking him. "Hey Daniel wake up. Can you take me to the hospital." He got up really fast and was checking me out to see if I was ok. "I'm fine daniel, but my mom went into labor." I said with a chuckle. He looked at me with wide eyes. "You didn't tell me your mom was pregnant!!" Daniel said still looking at me the exact same way he looks at watermelon, which is absolutely crazy. "It just never came up." I said as I stood up and walked over to Daniels closet. Oh all the hoddieeeesss. I thought as I saw a Red Bull's jacket and new I absolutely loved it. "Daniiiiii!" I said dragging out the I. "Yessssss." Daniel said imitating me. "Can I have this sweater?" I said giving him puppy eyes and a pout. "Yes zell, but only if you give me your scruchie!" He said excitedly jumping up and down on his bed. I sighed and took the maroon scrunchie off my wrist and handed it to Daniel. "YAYYYYY I HAVE ZELLAS SCRUNCHIE!" Daniel says running around the room like a toddler on a sugar high. "Get your high ass self in the car and drive me to the damn hospital!" I said as I put my shoes on very quickly. "Oh right. I forget." He said as he pulls on a jacket that says king on the back of it. "Wait zell, wear this one." He says handing me a sweater with queen on the back of it. "Just because it's thicker." He said with a huge ass smile on his face. "Ok well come on my mom is going into labor." I said as I walked out of his front door him closely following behind.

We have been in the car for a while considering that the hospital is like 40 minutes away and traffic and all that jazz. "When are we gonna have a little one running around?" Daniel says a smirk plastered on his face. I look down and blush at the awkward and odd question. "Very funny daniel." I said as I looked out the window to see the rainbow. It had been raining all day but finally stopped a couple minutes ago.

We finally pull up to the drive way of the hospital and I see Daniel grip the wheel as he turns his head toward me. "Ok zell I know that this isn't a good time but like I really like you and you're a really great person so... um- I was wondering, would you like to go on a date with me tomorrow night." Wow. I'm definitely not overwhelmed. Man was that sarcastic as hell. I thought for a second laughing to myself. "I'm sorry, I can't I know you will regret ever being with me just like everyone else, I've been hurt too many times, it's hard for me to trust." I say remembering all the things jake did to me, he made me feel so worthless, he told me he loved me, then he said it was all just for fun. "Hey look at me zell, I would never hurt you, you're so kind and you have a beautiful heart, and you didn't deserve to be treated like that." I lowly start crying to myself. "Why do you care so much, just so you can hurt me and play me like every body else?" I said finally letting the tears fall out of my eyes. I see Daniel slowly unbuckle himself from the car and open the door. I close my eyes to try and calm myself down when I hear my door open. "Look at me Zella Brexly I care because you're a great person and deserve the world." He slowly puts his forehead against mine. "You deserve the world." He whispered his lips nearly touching mine. Then I felt a pang of courage and leaned into his lips and gave him the most passionate kiss I have ever given anyone. "Please Zella just give me a chance?" Daniel said his eyes full of hope. "Yes Danny, yes." I said with my hand still on his cheek slowly caressing it. "C'mon my mom has probably already given birth waiting on me to show up." I said with a giggle. "Damn that's cute." I heard Daniel say under his breathe.

We walked into the hospital to see my dad sitting in one of the waiting chairs crying. I ran over to my dad and hugged him trying to calm him down. "Dad, breathe tell me what's going on." I said in a soothing voice trying to calm him down. "She had twins." He said as he lifted his head up smiling. "You scared me you dumb head." I said as I got up and looked at him with a mad look on my face. "Well when are you gonna introduce me to your king?" My dad said with a smirk on his face. "Dad this is Daniel, Daniel this is dad." I said as Daniel walked over and shook my dads hand. "What are your intentions with my daughter?" My dad asks being over protective just like with jake . "Well I really like your daughter sir, and I wanted your permission to take her out on a date tomorrow night." He said with a hopeful look n his face. "You seem like a good kid, just have her him by 11:00, and no funny business." My dad said a stern look on his face. "Right no funny business." Daniel said with a smile on his face. "Leila Carter?" The front lady called out calling my mothers name. I went up to the counter as fast as possible. "She's ready for visitors." The lady said giving me a kind smile. I run around the corner then finally realize I don't know what room number my mom is in. Wow am I stupid. "Room number 475!" The front desk lady said as I found the nearest elevator and hopped in my dad and Daniel joining a couple seconds later.

I ran into my moms room to see her holding a baby wrapped in a blue blanket in one arm and a baby wrapped in a pink blanket in the other arm. "Awwww." I squealed going up to my mom. "Can I hold the girl?" I asked my mom nodded her head. "Grayson London Carter meet Zella, your older sister!" My mom said in a baby voice handing me the baby I now know as Grayson. "Awwww she's soooo cute, Daniel come look at her." I say and see my mom with a smirk on her face. "Who is this Zella?" My mom said not letting the smirk off her face. "Daniel mom, mom Daniel."  Said introducing daniel yet again. "I'm Daniel and I really like your daughter mrs. Carter and I already got mr. carters permission but I also want yours, I was wondering if I can take your daughter on a date tomorrow night?" My moms smirk changed into a smile and she looked at me and nodded. "Yes I'd love for you to take my daughter out on a date." Daniel thanks her and made his way back over to Grayson and I. "She's so cute!" Daniel said playing with her tiny little fingers as she rested in my arm. Daniel started playing with her feet and she let out a little giggle. "OMG SHES SOOO CUTE!" Daniel said getting even more excited. "You can hold her if you want." My mom said looking at Daniel. "Oh thank you, I love babies and kids in general." He said as he looked at Grayson. "Here." I said as I handed him Grayson and walked over to dad to see my newborn baby brother. "What's his name?" I said as I caressed his cheek. "His name is Zaylin Brown Carter." My dad said smiling playing with his newborn sons hands. "Well I gotta get going, but zell I'll talk to you later." He said as he waved at me and walked out. "Byeeee." I said as I ran over to him and hugged him, like a child does when their parent tries to leave. "Bye Zella Brexly, roof tonight?" He said already knowing the answer. I nodded my head heading back to my moms room. "That boy seems really nice but why is he wearin' a scrunchie on his wrist?"

It's amazing how much a boy can break u.....
