Chapter 9𑁍Rooftop

daniel is still yet to leave my side, at this point he refuses. hes been at my house for 5 days straight and he says he wont leave until i feel better. i told him i felt better, but he didnt believe me.

today daniel told me he wanted me to meet his bandmates to get my mind off of things going on. i accepted thinking why the HELL not!! so here we are now walking up the stairs, two flights of them to be exact. daniel said something about exercise but hes already 30 steps ahead of me. if you couldnt tell im a very lazy person, like 24/7. except when it comes to skateboarding or singing and playing my guitar. We finally reach the correct floor and I'm already exhausted. i put up my middle finger at daniel cause he beat me. "you're just mad cause i won." he says and shows off his cute tooth gap as he grins. "ya know what you're lucky you're cute..... or i woulda busted your teeth out." i say gritted through my teeth but not actually meaning it. he throws he hands up in defeat. "so who won?" i ask as i look up at daniel intimidatingly. "you, you totally won." he said in a completely sarcastic voice. "that's what i thought." i say as i skip the rest of the way down the hall to daniels apartment.

i'm honestly kinda scared to meet the guys, i feel like most people don't like me or we just don't get along. "you ready to meet my goofy ass best friends?" he asks with his hand firmly around the door that he just unlocked. i looked at him and put my hand over my heart. "i thought i was your best friend." i say trying to sound fake offended. "ok you're my best friend." he said as he looked at me, then he looked down and whispered "not." i looked up at him and he just laughed. daniel and i were just staring at each other for no apparent reason when the door opened. "oh hey daniel and his uhm? lady friend?" a very familiar yet unfamiliar blonde says. "move ya bean." daniel says in a harsh yet joking around manner. daniel pushes through the "bean" and pulls me with him into the house. immediately i see 4 rather cute dudes looking hella confused. one of them eyed me up and down like he was checking me out, i saw daniel send him daggers. "uhm guys this is zella brexly my best." he pulled me close to him and finished his sentence. "my best friend." he looks down at me and smiles. "and zella this is zachary, just remember him by rosey. he likes to blush a lot. ok next jack, or noodles pretty self explanatory. and jonah here is the one he kept eyeing you." daniel says and both jonah and i immediately freeze. i look at daniel and o can see his jaw clench and unclench as he looks back down at me. "and the last one is corbyn you've met him on the roof as you may know but he's blonde so yeah he's just blonde." corbyn comes to me and wraps a arm around me. "why do you set on the roof." corbyn asks with a grin. "well i go up there to relax, sing and look at the stars and:" he cuts me off. "we finna be besties, do you love space and or nasa." "HELL YEAH, MARRY ME?" i ask being only slightly serious. "ok let's be real here if anyone here were to be married it'd be me and zach." jack says as he unsuccessfully tries to kiss zach on the lips. we all burst out in laughter and i can tell these guys are gonna be my new besties. plus girls get on my nerves so i just stick to having guy friends anyway. after we all finish laughing we decide to stay at their apartment. (i imagine this as like the penthouse in jessie, don't judge me.) it's big enough for all of us to either lay on the floor or on the couch. daniel didn't want me to go home so he just offered my one of his shirts to sleep on while i just keep on the shorts i came here in underneath. "ok time to decide where everyone will be laying." jonah says making everyone settle down. "ok dad." i say under my breath. "you can say that again." he says making me feel very uncomfortable. daniel notices and pulls me closer to him. "that isn't cool dude." daniel said with a slight growl to his voice. "sorry dude chill the fuck out." jonah says as he poops down on the couch opposite from daniel and i. as of right now daniel and i are cuddled up in a love seat. i honestly like it a lot, he's really warm and he makes me feel safe. we were watching moana even though i wasn't paying attention. i was just in my thoughts. "you ok zell?" daniel asks while he's playing with my hair twisting it around his fingers. "yea i'm good, i'm just thinking." i say with a smile on my face. "bout what?" daniel says as he looks up at me since i'm laying on his chest. "just the fact that i ya know met you, you changed my life for the better. at this point the roof isn't a place for me to think it's the place that i met you. i know i just met the guys but i like them a lot and i hope they like me too, cause i never wanna leave this." i say and then lay my head back on dani's chest. "they love you zella, i know they do. i think jonah may like you a little too much, but he'll get over it. and you could never leave me, i don't know what i'd do without you zella." daniel says and gives my head a soft kiss. i feel something i haven't really felt before for this brown haired doofus. (a/n i know he has blonde hair but for the sake of this story it's brown. not that i don't love his blonde hair. he's literally so cute all the time so yeah.) i felt as if there were butterflies in my stomach every time he would touch me or would kiss my head. he makes me feel safe and that's all i could ever want from a guy. "thanks dani, for everything." i say as my eyes start shutting. "don't worry bout' it zell." he says as he lays back closing his eyes as well. i slowly let the darkness consume me as i fall into a deep sleep.

hey i'm back and better than ever and i even think i'm gonna write so much more than before cause honestly i feel so much better after my little break but yea i might even have a update schedule so that i can keep all my stuff organized but yea hope you're enjoying this book. and if you have any feed back about my story don't forget to comment.
