"Choc!"
"Choc? Is the soul of Kai Dawson still occupying the body I see?"
"I'm eating your ice cream."
Hm... wait. I thought.
"Huh?!"
We were sitting on an old, vintage styled, lace designed bench in the shade of two large and lush trees beside us, but the little rays of warm sun still reached us and danced between the shadows of the leaves. The cool summer breeze swept past us at the park. The park was still perfect, well to me, even after so many years, it still retained its beauty. I chuckled, it's been this long already since I've met the girl leaning beside me. I looked at the no longer existent chocolate chip ice cream cone that was supposed to be in my hand.
"You thief! You've committed high treason and should be given the death penalty!" I shouted in mock hurt, which she just laughed in return.
"Serves you right Choc," She said in between giggles. "I feel like I should be offended that you care more about the ice cream goodness than me." She attempted a frown.
"Well, you know how much my love means to me." I heard a dramatic grasp from her.
"More than me?!"
I internally stopped, then sighed. Here we go again, I smiled.
"Curse you and your meldramatic acting skills."
"I know you wouldn't have me any other way." She winked, and took a bite out of my chocolate ice cream that has now been devoured up to the cone already.
"Hey!"
"What?" She asked, trying to look as innocent as possible. Pfft, cunning little devil.
"Do you know what you're eating?"
"Huh?"
"Do you know what you're eating?"
"Yeah, it's something."
"Do you know whose it is?"
"Yeah."
"Then why are you still eating it?"
"Because I know what I'm eating."
I groaned it frustration and lifted my hand to my forehead. Why are you so stubborn?
"Just give me the damn ice cream."
"What ice cream?"
"I thought you said you knew what you were eating stupid."
"I knew what I was eating dumbass."
"Then what do you have in your hand?" I dropped my hand and turned to face her. "My ice--"
With wide eyes I looked at her hands that were both in front of me. No she wasn't hiding it, there wasn't anything there except a very very smug face, which meant one thing: she. ate. it. all.
"Don't tell me..."
"Okay then, I won't."
She was starting get tomato red from stifling her laughter. My eyes grew even wider and my permanently open mouth refused to snap together. What came out of my mouth was, hm, to put it in the closest phrase possible, a cross between a creaking door in a haunted house and a dying elephant. But this would be nothing campared to what I was about to do to her.
"Well, my darling Chip, it seems like you've been misbehaving. It's like you're begging me for a challenge to a fight." I said with a dark, sly grin in my face.
"No. Choc. Don't you dare." Her face started to pale and she began to glare at me. "Kai Ayden, you know how much I hate that."
I stopped leaning against me. and moved away. I moved forward. She took a step away from the bench. I took a step foreward, my mischief starting in 3, 2, 1...
"Shit." before i knew it, she sprinted away, the fastest I've ever seen her run. I burst out laughing evilly.
I chased after her into the open. This always happened. She would run extremely and unhumanly fast at first, leaving me in the distance. Then she'd slow down, out of breath. I was catching up to her, which meant that she was slowing down. I smirked, you never learn, do you?. My attention focused like a hawk, ready for my attack. I could now hear her heavy pants and she turned her head around to see the distance between us, only to take in a panicked breath.
"Wrong move." I chuckled wickedly.
I wrapped my arms around her to me, to stop her little self from escaping and spun her around, until I started to get kinda dizzy too. She dropped to the ground and I started tickling her neck and waist and she exploded out fits of rambunctious laughter. She hated being tickled because she was the most ticklish person I've met. She once said to me that she hated it so much and that the only person who could tickle her in the whole entire mega ulta universe was me. But boy, did she make that one big mistake.
"No!... Stop!" She struggled to say without laughing. "Stop it... Choc!"
"You know you love it." I winked mischieveously.
"No I... no I don't!"
"Because you're... tickling me you... idiot!" She tried to free herself from my grasp. She was already rolling and wriggling from my torture in the middle of the park. She suprised me when she stared at the side and abruptly stopped laughing for a few seconds. Then she turned her head to me, an even more mischievous glint in her eyes. I wonder why, but there was one thing I knew for sure: I knew that look anywhere, even miles away, and I especially hated it, because I knew that this couldn't be good.
