Ten

Hae Soo's POV:

The four of us eventually fell asleep, Mark and Donghyuck in the floor and Taeyong on the couch next to where I was sleeping on Sicheng. I woke up to see everyone else still asleep as I rubbed my tired eyes and noticed it must be early morning because it was still dark outside with only the tv lighting up the room. I smiled as I saw Mark and Donghyuck sound asleep, looking less panicked than earlier which was good. I turned and saw Sicheng with his hair in his face as he was sound asleep, holding me tightly as if he were afraid of losing me.

I lifted my hand up and pushed his hair gently out of his face while lifting up to kiss him on the cheek. He stretched and opened his eyes slowly, looking at me in his arms. "What's wrong baby?" He said, wondering why I was up. "Everything is perfect." I said, looking into his gentle brown eyes. He leaned down and kissed my forehead gently as I moved to bury my face into his chest. "Just go back to sleep baby." He whispered in my ear. The sound of his voice was always so calming so I closed my eyes and listened, drifting off to sleep once again...

I woke up to the sound of Taeyong banging pots and pans in the kitchen. I groaned in annoyance while stretching and looking around, now being the only one on the couch. I lifted up quickly and noticed Mark and Donghyuck now in the kitchen while Taeyong was cooking and Sicheng was for some reason, no where to be found, which made me nervous. "Hae Soo, you're finally up." I heard Taeyong say as I stood up from the couch, walkimg towards the three of them. "Yeah, where's Sicheng?" I said, them noticing the worried expression on my face.

"He went to the store to get some eggs, I'm making everyone breakfast." Taeyong said as he was cooking other things on the stove. "Oh okay, thank you Tae." I said, sitting next to Mark at the table. But secretly I was still really worried about Sicheng. With all of these kidnappings going on, I didn't feel comfortable with him going alone places. I know he is a grown man who can protect himself but I can't help but to always worry about the man I love. "You two are so inseparable." Mark laughed.

I tried to deny it but I completely agreed. Sicheng and I were super close and almost always side by side. We were always protective of each other and we just loved spending time with one another, we made each other happy. "Yah! What's wrong with that? We're in love." I protested. Mark threw his hands up in defeat and laughed, giving up. "You two should just get married already." Donghyuck said. I laughed, thinking he was joking but he remained serious. "Wait what? You're serious." I said, looking away from their gazes.

"I mean yeah, we all know that you two are perfect together and you act like a married couple already. I ship" he said while smiling brightly at me. "I ship it too." Mark chimed in, highfiving Donghyuck. I laughed and stood up, walking to the kitchen next to Taeyong. "Can you believe them?" I laughed as the two of them at the table began to talk about something else. "Actually I agree with them. I'd love to see that wedding." He winked at me and went back to making the food. I rolled my eyes and walked off to my room to hide my blush. "You guys are unbelievable." I said as I huffed and walked into my room, shutting the door behind me and throwing myself onto the bed, letting my thoughts drift off to my boyfriend who was still no where in sight.

Sicheng's POV:

As I walked into the store, I realized I had forgotten my phone. "Damn it" I sighed to myself but walked in anyways, looking for the eggs. I found them quickly but decided to get my girl some candy before leaving to head back to the dorm. I grabbed her favorite candy bar and went to check out but before I could make it to the cash register, I saw a familiar face step out into the isle in front of me. "Oh Sicheng right? Weird seeing you here." It was Mr. Byun.

"Yeah, it's Sicheng." I said awkwardly but what I was really wanting to say was, why the hell are you in the campus store on the opposite side away from your classroom. "Well I'll leave you to it. See you in class tomorrow." He said, looking like he wanted to say something else but instead walked out of the store rather than getting anything which was super weird to me. I shrugged it off and put my items on the counter, paying for them quickly as the cashier bagged them. I took the bag and left the store. "Thanks man." I said as I walked out.

I looked around and saw Mr. Byun no where in sight which was weird because I don't remember seeing him get into a car so he should be walking around here somewhere but he wasn't. He was truly an odd guy. I sighed and walked back to the dorm, rather than worry about some weird creepy teacher. Though I felt someone was following me, I ignored it and made it to the dorm building, determined to get to my girl who must be worried sick by now. I went up to the room and opened the door, seeing it wasn't locked and was greeted by Donghyuck, Mark and Taeyong but no Hae Soo.

I waved to them and gave Taeyong the eggs before taking the candy bar out of the bag. "She went to her room. She's been really worried about you bro." Taeyong said. I didn't say anything but instead walked quickly to her room and opened the door lightly, walking in to see her on her bed, her eyes closed as she looked so peaceful. I closed the door lightly, not wanting to wake her up but failing, as she opened her eyes and immediately shot up as she saw me. "Baby, I'm home." I smiled at her as she ran up to hug me and kissed me on the lips. "I was so worried about you, are you okay?" She said as she held my face and looked into her eyes.

"Yeah, I'm fine, sorry I worried you but look I got you something." I handed her the candy bar, making her smile brightly and kiss me on the cheek before dragging me to the bed with her. I decided it was for the best right now if I didn't tell her about my encounter with Mr.Byun at the store, but part of me felt I should tell her...
