Two years later…

Giving up to any kind of possible hope, she recklessly walked along the beach, kicking the sand with her bare foot in frustration. Wanting nothing more than to give up on any possible chance to love. She suddenly turned around, giving her attention to a small bottle lying peacefully near the ocean shore. Curious, she walked towards it noticing that a message was trapped inside. She started to anxiously open the bottle; excited to see what this message contained. Opening it slowly she began reading it in a form of whisper.

Dear, whoever is reading this

We don’t know each other and may I be honest with you we might never will. But can I tell you a secret? I think I’m in love, actually I am in love. I love absolutely everything about this girl; I love the way she giggles to every joke I say, I love how awkward yet so social she is. I love her sarcastic comments even though I claimed many times that I didn’t. We aren’t supposed to love each other, its absolutely forbidden and I totally understand it, she’s not part of my world and neither am I part of hers, yet when I’m with her she makes me feel like I’m so much more than what I actually am. This girl is sitting beside me right now and I wouldn’t want her any where else than right here, beside me. I’m not asking you to understand what I’m feeling as I know this letter doesn’t explain much, trust me writing this is the hardest thing I ever did for the simple fact that  this feeling I have  every time I’m near her is simply unexplainable. This girl is the love of my life and I look forward to having her beside me forever.

-Jason McCann

Smiling, the girl gently folded the letter back to its usual form and placed it back in the bottle closing it afterwards, refusing to be selfish she took a step into the ocean, throwing it as far as she could, knowing that someone out there probably feels the same way as she did minutes ago and deserves a sign like this one as guidance. Coming back to the shore, she started walking back home; now believing that someone out there will love  her, just like Jason McCann loved his special girl.
