« Wake up babe, it’s an emergency » I heard my boyfriend whisper in my ear
I opened my eyes to see his flawless face staring at me in anticipation; I got up and looked at the wrecked clock
« Jason its 1:34 in the morning, what can be so urgent? » I asked obviously exhausted
As my usual answer, all I got was a pleasing smile and a ‘’follow me’’.
Leading us to the front entrance I looked at him run out in the pouring rain
« Jason its pouring outside we are going to get sick! » I screamed loud enough for him to hear over the rain.
« Who cares baby, you said it yourself; we only live once! » he shouted back
I crossed my arms over my chest refusing to come out
« Will you please come outside, for me? » he begged
« Nope» i stubbornly said
Smiling I watched Jason dance around in the rain, stepping into every puddle he could find.
« You don’t know what you’re missing» he sing sang in his usual tone
I playfully sighted giving in, and slowly walked outside. Once I was facing him I crossed my arms against my chest again giving him a meaningful look yet never letting my smile go.
« What now? » I asked waiting for the punch line
« This » he said smiling, while leaning down and placing a delicate yet passionate kiss on my lips, wrapping my arms around his neck I began kissing back, fascination overcoming me while he gently made our lips move in sync as if they always belonged together. Smiling I backed off
« Let me guess? That was another wish» I guessed
He nodded while brining his lips back on mine
« Number 7; kiss in the rain » he quoted again
Giggling I pressed my lips back on his before pushing him into a gigantic puddle
« You’re right, this is fun» I said laughing.
He quickly stood up, his body recovered of mud, I watched him approach me slowly, a playful grin plastered on his face
« I love you» he simply said before tackling me into a tight hug making me regret ever pushing him in the first place
« Revenge is a bitch baby, never forget it» he said while including a small wink at the end of his sentence.
