'BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY' - FREDDIE MERCURY BIOPIC GETS GREENLIT!
Now — I know what you're all thinking: another biopic? Following the rumours of an Elton John biopic to be released in 2019, 20th Century Fox have confirmed a Freddie Mercury biopic following the early years of the infamous rock band Queen until his passing from AIDS in 1991.
Despite the early rumours of Sacha Baron Cohen claiming the lead role: Rami Malek, 37, will play Freddie Mercury, the incomparable lead singer of Queen.
Joining him is Ben Hardy, 27, who will portray Roger Taylor; Joe Mazzello, 35 as John Deacon and Gwilym Lee, 35 as Brian May.
Lucy Boynton, 24, is rumoured to be playing Mary Austin, Freddie's best friend and rumours swirl that Mia Koenig, 24, will be playing a small part too.
