There were only two history teachers at the school. (Name) was one of them while Romulus was the other. The Principal had hired them both because of their extensive travels during some of history's greatest moments. Both had class the entire day the only problem was (Name) was friends with most of her students, and Romulus's relatives were some of his. Neither had knew that their friends were students at the odd school.
(Name) sat in her chair as Romulus sat on her desk while they chatted that first day. Both recalling some things they remembered from their ancient lives, for both were vampires. The school was exclusively for vampires and humans, as a program to integrate the societies better. This year though they had brought in hunters and werewolves. The hunters placed at the school made some of the creatures of the nights nervous but none the less they were their to stay.
(Name) and Romulus were interrupted by the bell signalling that students were allowed into the school. (Name) shooed the man from her class as some of the students arrived for the day. The principal, Mr. Beilschmidt, was making his morning rounds to the classes, while (Name) got ready for the day. (Name) had a good 10 minutes when he arrived at Romulus's room. The two could spend all day reminiscing and talking or at least Romulus could.
A warning bell rang as the principal entered. They chatted only for a minute or two before he made his way to the last room. (Name)'s room filled with students as she stood at a podium. Another bell rang minutes later and (Name) picked up her pen. She began to go through roll call.
"Arthur Kirkland?" she called out.
"Present," replied the blonde.
"Are you Alistair's brother?" she asked recalling the red headed vampire.
"Unfortunately," he muttered under his breath.
(Name) ignored the comment as she continued with roll call. She ran through the rest of the list finding siblings and children of some of her friends. She sent the attendance to the office on her computer before handing out textbooks. She went over the syllabus and what supplies they would need, along with rules and expectations of the classroom. With 10 minutes left she opened the floor for questions.
"Is it true you're a vampire?" asked Alfred in the back of the room.
"What do you think?" she asked.
His mind went blank as he sat there staring at the beautiful teacher. She rolled her eyes and called on the next student with a question.
"Can we see some pictures of you to see if you are a vampire?" asked a girl in the back.
(Name) nodded and took some of her photos from her desk and passed it around. In every picture (Name) was seen clear as day while the other man in the photo was just a skeleton or just floating clothes.
"The one with the skeleton walking with me down the forest in the victorian clothing is my friend and I, at the history festival in england. The one with the with kissing the skeleton was the dance of Demeter in Greece with my friend, not the same one from the other photo. And the finale one with the invisible man dancing with me is my friends at the fall formal a few years ago."
The students began to ask questions about the events and people in the photo but soon the bell rang. Throughout the day, (Name) repeated the process over and over. By the time lunch rolled around almost all of the students had heard of the skeleton kissing teacher. (Name) made her way over to Romulus's room for lunch. She smiled as she opened the door. Inside she found Romulus and his twin grandsons chatting.
"Ciao bella," Romulus said as she entered the room.
"Sup Rom-com the grecian," she slanging his old hated nickname at him.
