Shadows

Sixteen years, that was how long (Name) had been tormented, threatened and used by her sister Crystal. The rest of the school had been under her iron fist since 5th grade. (Name) was a no one in the eyes of everyone, even her family, and Crystal was everything. She had been Homecoming Queen for 2 years straight. Dated the Q.B., Alfred F. Jones, for three years, while cheating on him. Crystal was surrounded by her friends, Iris and Rose, along with her minions. (Name) only had a transfer student named Kiku. He was a Japanese boy whose brother was Yao Wang, class President and head of debate team.

Kiku had moved only a year ago to Worldsville and met (Name) because of their popular siblings. They were the shadows. Kiku and (Name) weren't the only shadows there was the Vargas twins, Matthew, and Arthur. Some had become friends over the years as they became less and less noticeable. Though they were happy in their little groups, things were about change once more due to their siblings.

(Name) followed her twin sister, Crystal, and her two friends, Rose and Iris, as they walked through the halls of the high school. Crystal flirted with every boy as they walked along with Rose and Iris falling their leader's way. It drove (Name) insane that her sister had no morals and broke every promise Crystall made. (Name) wrote down the actions of her sister for later references.

The plastic three's outfits and makeup were on point and with every step they turned heads. (Name) on the other hand had her uniform slightly messy and never touched makeup. Crystal had her (h/c) curled and pulled up in a red bow that matched her uniform. Iris and Rose dressed in a similar faction but with their bows black. (Name)'s hair was down and a mess like usually. Her thick black rimmed glasses framed her (e/c) which were looking down at her pad of paper while scribbled notes down. The four soon arrived to their 1st class: chemistry. (Name) quickly separated from the group and took her seat in the back of the room. She always did the labs by herself while every boy and girl lined up to work with her sister and friends.

The bell rang and in walked the teacher followed by her lab partner who was holding a conversation with the teacher. He had short slicked back blonde hair and a well built body. The teacher motioned for him to sit by (Name) but she heeded no attention to the boy. The class started and (Name) pulled out her textbook. The teacher assigned everyone to work in partners in the lab but (Name) didn't bother to look for a partner as she grabbed everything she needed. She was about to start when the boy added a beaker she was missing to her table.

"Thanks," (Name) said quietly as she made the set up.

With that said they worked in silence and soon finished the setup while the rest of class was still struggling. There wasn't much to be said for it was like they shared the same mind just different bodies.

"Pass me the sulfuric acid," (Name) said and Ludwig did.

(Name) instructed him what to do and he did as told. He was fine with it being this way. They soon finished the lab and their notes for it and worked in silence to clean their station up. As they finished putting away the last of their equip a set of three footsteps neared their way over to the dou. (Name) stopped dead in her tracks as an arm wrapped around her waist.

"Hey fraulein,"

"What do you want Gilbert?"(Name) said gritting her teeth while Ludwig looked to see his brother with his arm wrapped around his lab partner's waist. I wonder why he's not asking me this time. Ludwig thought to himself.

"How much for a copy of your lab work?"

"Your brother has a copy of my work. Copy his."

With that said Gilbert walked over to his brother and looked to be pleading to his brother, all in German. Ludwig had a fighting chance against his sibling unlike the other shadows but even then it was a small chance. Ludwig usually gave in after only a week. The other two, Francis and Toni, stood with (Name).
