"Is it too much," (Name) started as she lunged at her partner with the fencing sword, "to get a guy who will put up with my shit? Like all I want is someone to pick up stuff from the store when I feel horrible, sing show tunes with me and like cuddle. Is that to much to ask?"

(Name) flicked her wrist and (Friend)'s sword was flinged out of the air. With a simple tap to the shoulder, the game was over. (Name) slid off her helmet/mask and so did (Friend).

"I think you should take what you can get," (Friend) said before taking a seat.

The alarm buzzed and (Friend) rushed to get out of her fencing clothes. They said their goodbyes and (Name) changed out of her own clothes. She wasn't ready for the day ahead. Since (Name) was in a university program and had failed one of her courses. The university told her she needed to have some real world experience, to make up the credit. They gave her a list of jobs to do for credit and the easiest one was teaching for one semester. So (Name) had taken a teaching job, though she was really only an intern. (Name) was only needed in the second half of the day today since it was mostly being shown around.

After changing and preparing for the day, (Name) got into her car and drove to the mediocre school. The familiar halls greeted her like an old friend as she walked through the building to the main desk. (Name) had gone there many years before. She entered the main office and found a familiar blond at the front desk, chatting with a brunette.

"Oh my, (Name), is that you?" came the blond's voice.

"Felix? I haven't seen you since graduation. Toris," (Name) said greeting her old classmates.

"(Name) it's good to see you again, what brings you here?" asked Toris.

"I need the extra credit hours for my degree, you?"

"I teach herbology and nutrition. What are you going to be teaching?"

"They haven't told me yet. Is anyone else from our class here?" she asked but before she could get and answer Romulus had entered the room.

"Ms Beats, it's nice to see you again. I have your schedule here, you'll be watching for the rest of today and your first class is tomorrow morning," he smiled handing her a packet of papers, before taking Toris into his office to chat about something.

"Numbering still the same?" (Name) asked but Felix was on the phone, he nodded and (Name) was on her way.

(Name)'s first class was chemistry with a Mr. Braginsky. (Name) smiled remembering one of her classmates. In her senior year, she had been partnered with the madman, and that started their friendship. He had even taken her to prom in their group with friends. She smiled as she knocked on the door, remembering how they discussed how the class should have been runned. The door slowly creaked open and Ivan stood there looking down at the young woman in shock.

"I'm the new intern," (Name) said with a smile.

He opened the door all of the way and looked out to the class that worked in silence. She watched as they measured previously and how they all seemed so serious. There was a group in the back that was arguing in whispers about a calculation and a few people walking around the room, but that was the only sound.

"(Name)?" called out a voice from the hall it was Mathias.

"Hi Mr. Densin, nice to see you again," she said turning to face the other teacher.

"Wha-" before he could ask the question, a loud explosion was heard from next door.
