Your POV
"I'm thinking about moving."
Mark stepped back and let me into his room, then lightly closed the door behind him. He threw on a shirt and sat on his bed, then patted beside him for me to sit.
I sat down and sighed, then Mark put a hand on my shoulder. "So... you want to move, huh?"
I nodded slowly, "Yeah, I've been thinking about it for a few days."
His face turned soft, his eyes practically smiling. "Are you going with Jack?" I nodded and he smiled, his eyes crinkling up slightly. As he looked at me, his face turned hard, like he was serious about something. "Are you sure you want to? What if, God forbid, something goes wrong in your relationship after you move? Then what are you going to do?"
I sighed deeply and looked down, a frown on my face. "I didn't think about that. I guess I would come back and live with you. Or get an apartment over there far away from him..." My frown worsened. "I just hope we don't break up. I love him too much. I would miss him. I would probably cry, become dehydrated, then cry even more without rehydration. (¿Trigger warning?) I would probably kill myself with crying." (Don't forget to read "with crying". That's the key part of that sentence.) I chuckled softly, no humor anywhere to be seen, as my eyes watered slightly.
Mark hugged me from the side, his arm staying around me while he talked. "Oh, sis, don't say things like that. I'm sure you would get over it, even if the process was slow. But let's not talk about you guys breaking up, because you are my OTP (one true paring) and it makes me want to cry when you even mention breaking up."
I laughed softly, sniffling a few times. "It makes me sad too, bub." I put my arm around his torso, hugging him back. A tear was on the brim of falling, but I wiped it away before it could fall, a few laughs coming afterward. "But, yeah, I want to, but I don't want to leave you. I mean, I have been around you all my life, so I would miss you."
Mark chuckled, patting my shoulder opposite to him. "Don't worry about me. I'm sure I'll find another roommate, but not someone that I know as much as I know you. Yeah, we would miss each other, but there's such thing as phones and Skype for a reason."
"So do you think I should go?"
He smile softly, "That's up to you to decide. Just know that I support your decision either way."
I smiled and nodded, letting go of him. "Thanks Mark."
He grinned and chuckled, "Go. Go be with your boyfriend. You better go pack, too. If you're making the decision I'm thinking, and hoping, you're making."
"I am, Mark. You already know, so you want to come with me to tell Jack?"
Mark nodded, an evil grin on his face. "Yeah, but let's act like I don't want you going."
I snorted and nodded, "Okay, only because I think it'll be funny. How's it going to go?"
Time skip to after the plan is told
"So you got it?" Mark asked, standing by his door, hand on knob.
"Yep. Let's do this."
We nodded at each other, then he swung the door open.
I slammed the door, stomping through the hall. "DON'T SLAM MY DOOR!" Mark yelled.
"DON'T BE SO PROTECTIVE! I CAN MAKE MY OWN DECISIONS!" I yelled back, stopping in front of Jack's door. I swung his door open, then slammed it shut, hearing Marks annoyed groan and heavy stomps coming down the hall.
"WHAT DID I JUST SAY?!"
"You can't move. I forbid you to move." I said through gritted teeth, then glanced at Jack, an angry chuckle coming from deep in my throat. "Oh, and DON'T SLAM MY DOORS, blah blah blah, some other bull shit." I mocked Marks voice, getting another annoyed, more angry groan from him.
"What I say is not bull shit." He said through gritted teeth, his voice deeper than usual. "Do whatever the FUCK
you want, just don't break shit in MY house!""I'm trying to move away so that I can't break shit in YOUR house! Why can't I make my own decisions? Why do you have to act like dad? You're NOT dad, and you'll never be!" I yelled, forced tears stinging my eyes.
I felt Jack's arms wrap around me defensively, then a low growl imminent from his throat, "Mark, just leave her alone. She's 27, for Christ sake! Let the woman make her own decisions! She's mature enough to!" Jacks voice got louder with each word he said, more and more hate spewing from his words.
"You know what?" I heard Mark smack his legs out of his fake anger. "Run off together. I don't give a single fuck. If your relationship fucks up, don't come crying to me."
Mark started to walk away, until I started clapping. I wiped away the fake tears that had formed from my eyes, wiping them on my pants. I got loose of Jack's grip, Marks starting to clap now, making Jack confused.
"Good act, Mark, good act."
"Why, thank you, you did just as good."
We high-fived, laughing out of victory. Jack's eyebrows knitted together, showing just how confused he was. "Wait... so you guys just acted all of that? For a joke?"
Mark nodded, a proud slime on his face. "Yup. It was to see if you would stand up for her. Well, that's why I did it. I think (Y/n) did it just for fun."
"Of course I would stand up for her! She's my girlfriend that I love!" Jack yelled, chuckling throughout his sentences.
"I love you too, Jack." I said, poking his nose.
He chuckled and smiled, shaking his head slowly. "You guys... You two are something else alone, an even more beautiful catastrophe put together."
We all laughed, understanding what Jack meant. Mark sighed and looked at the pair of Jack and I, then looked at his watch. "When does your plane leave? And do you have another ticket for (Y/n) yet?"
"We leave tomorrow evening. And not yet. I was waiting for her approval. I have to see if the plane is full yet."
Mark and I nodded, then I stared walking for the door. "Well, you check that, Mark and I are going to do some packing." Mark followed me out into the hall, right behind me. "Mark, go get some boxes. Bring some to me, then take some with you so that you can get my recording setup. You don't have to get the desk, just the computer and other electronic devices in there."
He nodded and went down the stairs, and I went into my room. I sighed and went over to my dresser, going through clothes. I picked out clothes that I really wanted, leaving the ones that I didn't need, mostly because I'm sure I'm going to be buying more clothes anyway. And if I come visit Mark, I'll have clothes here.
I made two piles, the ones I was bringing, then the ones that was staying. Near the beginning of my work, Mark brought the boxes and tossed them to me, then headed off to my recording room. I kept sorting clothes until Jack came and started helping me.
He went to the pile that I was bringing and looked at me. "What do you want done with these?"
I looked over to him, then pointed to the boxes. "Start outing them in a box after folding them, please."
He nodded and stared folding, then Mark came back. "Need help?"
I nodded. "Help Jack fold clothes."
Mark nodded and got beside Jack, folding the clothes and handing them to Jack as I threw clothes to each of the piles.
