Your POV

We went back inside, the rest of lunch going semi-smoothly; I still caught that bitch looking at Jack, but I brushed it off until later. After we all paid our share of food, Jack paying for our food even after I grabbed my purse, then Jack 'smacked' my hands as I put them into my purse. Ethan paid for his and Mika's food, she offered to pay, too, but Ethan insisted on paying. Romana, on the other hand, didn't offer once. She sat back, toothpick in hand, picking at her teeth. (I'm surprised she didn't prop her feet up on the table to finish off her bitchy look.)

We grabbed our stuff, like jackets, purses, and take-out bags, and headed to our vehicles. Ethan and Mika separates from us because they were going to go for a walk, waving as they walked off.

I sighed, looking at our vehicles parked beside each other. 'Do I really need to smack her? Can't I just explain to her that I don't appreciate her staring at my man?

No. Smack her. It'll be good for you, and for her. It'll teach her a lesson.

But would it really? Would it be good for her? I understand that she may not stare at other people's mans after I smack her, but she wouldn't understand if I just walked up to her, smacked her, then left.

But that's the fun in things. You don't always have to understand to get into a fight! Come on, you haven't smacked anyone, let alone get in a fight, in a long time. Just smack her.

Do I really want in a fight, though?

Jesus Christ, make up your mind.' I sighed, shaking the mental argument out of my head.

I leaned against my cars hood, letting Jack and Mark talk a little longer since we were leaving America today. I checked the time; 1:56.

"Hey Jack, did you get my plane ticket?" I interrupted them.

"Yeah, I've had it bought for about a day now. Why?"

"I was just wondering. We are leaving at 6, right?"

"Yep. What time is it now, anyway?"

"1:56 pm."

He nodded and started talking to Mark again, then Mark glanced at me, his eyebrow raised. He held out his hand and smacked it with his other, raising his eyebrow more. Jack and I laughed, and I shook my head.

"I decided not to. My rage has lowered quite a bit."

"Why?" Mark asked with a whiny tone.

"I don't know."

"Can I make you mad? I just really want her to go away." Mark chuckled. (I know that seems mean, but he doesn't like her. She's like the antagonist in this book now. No one really likes her. Just like me. 👌👌)

I shrugged, "I mean, go for it. But remember, it's you making me mad now, not her. You might get slapped."

"What if I use her as a human shield?"

I laughed, shaking my head, "Sure. She'll definitely take a hit for you." I said sarcastically.

Mark rolled his eyes, "Yeah, I'm so sure. But on a serious note, are you going to talk to her?"

"It depends; Are you bringing her back to our house? Because if she makes me pissed there, anything could happen."

Mark nodded, "I could. If you talk to her, tell her that I don't want to be with her. I don't have the heart to."

I scoffed, face palming, "Mark..."

"Please? My respect for you would raise for at least a month. I wouldn't call you annoying for a month. Come on, please?"

"What happened to you not liking her and you wanting to tell her to leave?"

Mark shrugged, an innocent smile on his face, "I guess my rage has lowered."

I narrowed my eyes at him, "Fuck you."

He laughed, Jack shaking his head, "Wow. Siblings aren't supposed to be mean to each other." Jack said, clicking his tongue.

"Fuck off, man. Let me be mean to my sister in peace!" Mark yelled, laughing.

Mark and I flicked each other off, then I stood up off the car. "Well, let's go home."

They nodded, saying their goodbyes on the run. Jack ran over in front of me and opened my door, making me smile and shake my head.

"If Mark wants me to be mad, you need to not to this." I said, laughing as I sat down. Jack chuckled and went over to his side, getting in.

Time skip to when you're home

Jack and I pulled into the driveway, being the first ones back home. I sighed and got out, pushing the door closed slowly. I walked up to the front door and turned around, seeing Jack smiling at me. I smiled back, then opened the door. We both went inside, Jack closing the door behind him.

I went into the living room and sat down, looking at the black screen of the TV. Jack came and sat beside me, looking at me.

"What's going on in that beautiful head of yours, (Y/n)?" Jack asked, causing me to look over at him.

"Should I smack her? I mean, she didn't really do anything wrong. Yeah, she was staring at you, but it might not have been because of your amazing looks; She might've been trying to figure out if she knew you, which a lot of people do. But even if she was admiring you, does that really deserve a smack across the face?"

Jack shrugged, "Personally, I do get jealous sometimes, especially when people keep staring, but I've never smacked or punched anyone because of it. I've just talked to them. But it wasn't calm talking, either. I practically spewed curse words at them." Jack chuckled, running a hand though his hair.

"So you think I should just talk to her? I think that's what Mark wanted too, in general. What do I say?" As I talked, it got more and more to myself. I stared off into the distance, still listening to Jack's every word.

"Just explain to her that you don't enjoy her staring at me. Or you could ask her why she was staring, to begin with. If she says something about me being hot, don't disagree." I waited for him to continue, but he didn't. I chuckled and looked over at him, seeing him looking at me expectantly.

"Why would I disagree about you being hot? If I did disagree, I would be lying."

Jack blushed lightly with a chuckle, messing with his hair while looking at me. "Thank you. I try." He winked, causing me to blush and laugh.

"Anyway... Just explain that I don't like her staring?" I said, looking away, trying to get my blush to fade.

"Yeah, basically. Every time I've talked to someone about it, I always got a little heated, but other than that, I was fine. Once, a small talk brought up a huge fist fight in the middle of the schools court yard. It was amazing. I won, of course." Jack put one hand on his hip, the other on top of the back cushions of the couch, propping up his head.

I sighed as the sound of a vehicle pulling into the driveway arrived to my ears, then the sound of the door opening.
