Dance Me Blue
•~=•~=•~=•~=•~=•~=•

Abandoned and thrown down the hole in the mountain presumed to be the hellhole known as UnderFell by your parents, you were thrown down the complete opposite.

Asgore lead you through the ruins, your tiny self managing to escape through the giant, purple, double doors with the Dreemurr family emblem carved into the dyed wood.

Your tiny, five year old body wandered through the snow. Your entire body shook from head to toe, running frantically from the different kinds of monsters that tried to attack you.

That was, until you met Sans and Papyrus.

They took you in, figuring that you weren't like Frisk in your naïve nature, and cared for you as you grew up.

Now you were almost ten and just barely taller than Sans. Tears welled in the shorter skeleton's eye sockets every time he remembered you were growing up and not that little girl he had grown so attached to.

And yet, he was more of a father figure than anyone had ever been to you.

___________

When you were younger, Sans used to dance you in circles just to hear your shrill laughter. It always made his built-in smile stretch a little wider to see you happy. Although you could be a bit of a pain in the behind, and he was never really used to your tantrums, he treated you as if you were his child.

And now, all grown up, and just barely shorter than Papyrus' shoulders. Those days you used to dance together became less frequent, and you became less social and cold - just like the lanky, honey loving, smoker of a skeleton.

You're now sixteen, today being your birthday, and in the isolation of your room you began to reminisce about the days you and Sans used to laugh, him spinning you while you stood on your tippy-toes. The days where you only reached his shoulders, the days where you were outside of your room almost everyday.

So, you got up and out of the dark corner of your bed, slipping out of the crack you made in your door before silently shutting it. Making your way down the hallway, your heart dropped a little at the sight of the two skeletons who gave you nothing but love and mercy sat slumped on the couch in dismay.

Thumping down the creaky, wooden stairs, you caught the attention of both of the skeletal monsters on the sofa. "Hey...Blue?" You haven't used that nickname in almost six years.

"Y-Yes?" He looked up at you with hopeful eyes. "Would you.." you trailed off, becoming suddenly embarrassed. You sighed, walking up to Sans, and grabbing his hands to pull him off of the couch.

"Would you Dance me Blue, like old times?"
