I open my eyes but immediately shut them and wrinkle my nose at the horrible smell. The stench of stale blood and decaying flesh filled my senses and I was guessing I wasn't just in the icy forest somewhere.
I open my eyes when I hear arguing, yelling, and some sadistic sounding laughs.
The room was dimly lit and, as I mentioned, smelled horrible.
The first thing I see is the ceiling. It was a sort of grey-brown color. There were visible bloodstains along it too. I slowly lift my head up to see who I presume to be Jeff, pinning someone to the wall. I could see others around him, arguing with the figure while also looking at it with sadism in their eyes.
"Hey..." I say tiredly. No one hears me.
"Hey!" I say a bit louder before coughing a bit. Everyone turns to look at me, Jeff still keeping a strong hold on the figure.
"Your awake." I hear someone say."Yeah. What's going on? What happened?" I say, still in a bit of a daze. I feel like I'm still in a dream world.
But then the figure against the wall dematerialized, disappearing.
Jeff's eyes widen. I squint, not sure if I'm actually seeing this. Jeff spins back around to where the figure was, seeing it wasn't there, he curses.
"What the fuck?" He said in disbelief and confusion. Others looked back and were confused too.
"Y/n." I hear a voice say. Then the figure materializes again, this time beside the bed I was laying on.
I look slowly. The others were still in shock.
Upon seeing the face of the figure, I was now fully awake and aware. I gasp.
"Aron!" I fall off of the bed but he grabs my shoulders before I hit the floor.
I quickly stand up and throw my arms around him. I remember my dream now. I thought he was gone. I thought he left me.The others look in confusion as he hugs me back. Then I push him away and glare.
"Wait. No. You're not... I buried you. You're in the ground." I say, the memory washing over me.
"I'll explain it later. For now I think you should pick your friend's jaws up off the floor. Especially the one with the goggles." He said with an amused grin. Oh shit. Does he remember him?
I look back to see everyone still staring, mouths open and eyes wide. I figured I might as well be blunt about this.
"Guys. This is my friend, Aron. The one, eh... that Toby killed." I say. Eyes turn to Toby and his eyes get wider. I laugh at his expression, it was priceless.
"I'm hungry." I say as my stomach grumbled. How long had I been out? It couldn't't have been long, right?
I walk over to the door and open it, ready to go get a snack. However, when I open the door and walk out, I walk right smack into something. After managing to keep my balance, I look up and see Slender standing in front of me.
"Oops." I say as I take a step back.
"Who is this?" He said, turning his head towards Aron.
"He's my friend. Actually he's dead. You guys killed him." I said with a tone like I cared a lot less than I did.
"Can you stop saying it so bluntly?" I turn around to see him frowning. I laugh a little before suddenly gasping and rushing over.
"Aron! You're bleeding!" I say as I stare at the top in his jeans, showing a very deep gash in his leg, going from his hip to his knee and so deep I could see his bone under most of it. It was seeping blood down his leg.
He looks down and squints.
"Yeah, that confused me too. It's been like that since I got here. By here I mean since I came back to this world. Now that I think about it, That's where I got sliced open when I bled out." He said in thought.
"It won't stop bleeding either. Makes me worry a little bit. Although I don't think it effects me much as I am."
Then Slender walks over to him, puts his hand on his head, and they both disappear. I glare at whee they were.
I have a little thinking to do.
