Seriously, listen all the way through the song. It makes me cry every time. Listen to his other music too, so good.
I turn back to the group of people standing behind me.
"So...What?" Jeff said. I roll my eyes and grin. They had no idea what was going on and it was amusing.
"I already told you. That's Aron, my dead friend." They just stared at me for a second like having a dead friend wasn't understandable in this circumstance.
"Yeah... I, uh, I got that. But... how?" He said.
How? How did it happen? I can't remember anything except for a small chunk of my dream in which Aron disappeared. The last thing I remember before that was leaving to go on a mission with-... Wait a minute...
"Where's Oliver?" I ask in confusion. Almost everyone in the mansion was here. And Oliver wasn't someone to miss something interesting. Some people shrugged.
"Beats me. Last time I saw him, you two were leaving for a mission, arguing like little kids." I do remember that. But what happened after. I can't remember.
"Alright... so we went on the mission... but I'm here. How did I get here?" Jeff laughs.
"The door, I believe." He said. "You're not making any sense. Do you not remember walking back here?" He said. I shake my head at that.
"That's weird. It was pretty funny though. You walked in, you were covered in blood so I assumed the mission went well. Your eyes were all dilated and you had tears on your face. You kept mumbling stuff under your breath and stumbling around. Before anyone could make sense of it or get Slender, you collapsed and passed out." My eyes widen. I didn't remember that at all.
"And Oliver wasn't with me?" I ask, clarifying. He shakes his head. I furrow my eyebrows.
"And you guys didn't think to look for him?" I say, a little frustrated.
"Well, we were kind of occupied. People were worried, you had just passed out after having what looked like a mental episode. We got you in here and layed you down, then left the room. When we got back there was a random stranger sitting on the foot of the bed. Almost like he came out of nowhere, which now that I think about it, is probably what happened. Then I attacked him and that's when you woke up." I just stare in disbelief.
"Wow. All of this happened and I either was unconscious or can't remember." I say sheepishly. "But this still doesn't explain where Oliver is." Or why Aron is here...
"Alright. So... If I can't remember what happened and nobody else knew in the first place... how the hell are we supposed to find him?"
Lol, this reminds me of the Chihoko Yuri on Ice thing. Look it up on Youtube, it's entertaining as fuck.
"Well, I mean, you could ask Slender. I mean, that guy can do basically anything." He said, shrugging. He didn' seem as worried for Oliver's well-being as I was. It's freezing outside. What if he got lost after the mission?
Of course. Why hadn't I thought of that?
"Cya!" I say as I fling the door open and rush out into the hallway. It was a bit tricky finding my way around since I hadn't been in this part of the mansion before. When I finally found Slender's room, I actually knock this time.
"Come in." I hear him say. I push the door open and walk in, seeing him alone, I raise an eyebrow.
"Wasn't Aron with you?" I say, concerned that another one of my friends had gotten themselves lost.
"I showed him to his room and he's settling in." I nod and mutter a small 'Oh.'
"So. Oliver's missing and I have no memory at all of what happened on my mission." I say. He nods.
"Yes. Tim told me all about it." He said, pointing to where Tim was standing.
"Holy fuck! When did you get here?" I say, just realizing he was there.
"Five minutes ago. Unlike you, I didn't get lost on the way here, and it's my job to report to Slender." He said. I nod slowly.
"Yeah, okie. Anyway," I turn back to Slender "Can you help me?" I say. He pauses, supposedly to think.
"I can't bring back your memory. But I can locate the cause of it. For example, drugged, concussion, Etc." I nod.
"That'll have to work for now." I say. He motions for Tim to leave and he does.
"Alright. Now close your eyes and relax. Think of nothing except for darkness, let the darkness take your thoughts." He said. I follow the directions which were easier than expected.
I had nothing on my mind.
No worries, no memories, no thoughts or reflexes.
Just morbid, pitch darkness.
