"...Actually, I have a present. It will deliver to you in... in a minute, I guess." Reese said as he chats with Iori on the phone.
"A present..? ...Hmm?"
And at the moment, on the balcony, right in front of Iori, as she looks closely, a small elemental (water?) creature starts talking in a small voice as it starts waving. "Iori! Over here!"
"...Um. Hi?" Iori said to the small creature.
...Iori tries to realizing slowly in the process. There's a small creature such as this in reality. Iori can't believe her own eyes at first.
Then suddenly, the small elemental creature slips from the handle of the balcony. "Kyaa!" as it screams at its small voice once again.
"W-Whoa! I got you little guy!" Iori said as she safely catches it.
As the small creature looks at Iori, it smiled. "Thank you, Iori! You're a lifesaver!"
Somehow, Iori's heart just got stabbed metaphorically for a multiple times only because of this...
...Then, Iori finally realized...
"You... Y-YOU ARE REALLY CUUUUUUTE!!!! I just can't!" Iori squealed softly. Somehow, the small creature is quite confused but still smiling in the process.
"Oh really? Thank you! I'm flattered..." Reese suddenly spoke from the phone.
"H-Huh? ...What? Not you. I'm talking to someone." Iori monotonously said. Reese chuckles afterwards.
"No. Really. That's one of my new water powers too. Right in front of you. It's cute, right? ...RIGHT?" Reese replied. At that time, the small water creature starts sitting down while looking innocent at Iori.
....Iori pouted (because of the cuteness that the water creature is doing). "...A-Anyway, you discovered your own element by yourself?"
"Ah. You change the subject. And you can't deny that. Heehee~ That's a yes!" Reese proudly said with a smile.
"Just be serious, Reese, or divine punishment is coming on your way there any second."
Reese chuckles before he spoke. "No thanks. I might imagine you glaring. Anyhow, I managed to talk to the principal about my new powers and how to handle it awhile ago... and since I'm in the beach now, I can practice other water skills secretly. For now, I successfully did the water monster technique. I want to make it larger though... Just in case another element calamity and new elemental holder comes soon..."
"Hmm. That's a progress. But you better not to expose your powers too much in public--- NO!!! WHY!?"
While Iori is reacting, something screamed as it "popped" just now.
"W-What's wrong, Iori? What happened?" Reese asked.
"...The cute one... exploded... It exploded. Rest in peace, little one..." Iori said. Poor little one indeed...
Reese suddenly replies in monotone. "...Iori. You're exaggerating. I can make you another one. This time, with a longer time limit---"
At this moment, Iori truly facepalmed with disappointment. "What is wrong with you... Saying like that...! You can't bring back that cute one's life like that. You evil water summoner!!! ...I was going to name it though."
"Iori. As I told you. You're really exaggerating. At least be proud at my effort to make one." Reese monotonously replied once more. Iori slightly laughed afterwards... then upsettingly sighed, until she realized for a serious topic. "...Actually, stay there, Reese. I have an important talk before our group will leave tomorrow." Iori said.
