Chapter 13: mountain sound
It's been 5 days since the ball and since Aylee had been shot by the Spanish hunters, Melissa with assistance of dr Deaton were still trying to save her. While the others tried to pick up the pieces that she had left behind such as stopping Stiles from having a complete meltdown. Stiles soon refused to see anyone, holding himself up in his room trying to forget everything that had happened. The only place that Stiles really felt any comfort was in his room were played the music on the playlist on her iPhone that she made for him. It got to point that Stiles's dad was at lost what to do to help him so he decided to call in enforcements
" hey guys, thanks for coming I didn't know what else to do. I mean how do you comfort your son who's supernatural girlfriend was willingly shot with arrow by hunters?" The sheriff said as he opened the door to Lydia, Scott, Isaac and Kira.
" it's okay it's not like it would be in the parent handbook or anything, my mom said that she's been meaning to stop by and help with things but she's been a little busy with Aylee" Scott said knowing that this was just affecting Stiles but everyone who loved Aylee
" tell her not to worry about me, she's got enough on her plate without me adding to it. How's Aylee doing?" He asked truly wanting to know not just for Stiles's sake but his own
well I wouldn't exactly start with that when you tell Stiles, I mean we don't want to thrown him totally over the edge" he said as they approached Stiles's room door as scott began to knock on it
" hey Stiles, it's me we need to talk" scott said keeping it brief, thinking that the mystery of it would intrigue him enough to let him in which it did as the door slowly opened as Stiles turned his back on the them and continued to do his research on the walls
" wow when your dad said that you were holding a pity party, he wasn't kidding. You're being a tad dramatic aren't you?" Lydia said as she took both the room and Stiles's appearance in, she wondered if one girl was worth it .
The room was a mess of barely touched food on plates and newspaper clippings about the hunters and every supernatural related occurrence. There was string of different colours laying on the floor as well as on the wall like before they realised that he was the Nogitsune. Then there was Stiles who looked like he hadn't slept in days with bags around his eyes, his hair was ruffled as if he had been dragging his hand through it too many times. Everything about him seemed like a shadow of the person they were used who never back down in a fight.
" did you guys want something? I'm kinda busy" he said without a hint of emotion as he pinned a newspaper clipping about an animal attack that had the word written 'WEREWOLF' in green pen which matched the string coming from it
" yeah we can see that, what's going on Stiles?" Kira said carefully in case he was the same insane person he was before they realised that the Nogitsune was possessing him
"I need to find them, they need to pay for what they did to her I mean I know that she kinda let them and had a deal with them but I didn't. They can't get away with shooting an innocent girl" Stiles said in a kinda crazed way as he began to sort through the newspaper clippings
" so what? You're tracking them? Trying to work out where they'll go next to what Stiles? Kill them?" Isaac said not bothering to hide it in his voice what he thought of this which was that it was waste of time and pointless
" this goes beyond your little girlfriend Stiles, you're talking about going against a group of high trained and ruthless hunters" Lydia said not caring her green eyed monster was beginning to show
