Chapter 21: weaponized

Hi guys so here is another chapter which was one of favourite episode apart from the end of it, I did change a couple of the details to fit in with Aylee. So as always let me know what you think by either review or pm me

Chapter 21: weaponized

Scott and Stiles sat on the floor at the bottom of his bed listening to the tape that they found in Garrets bad along with the 500 thousand dollars which they had counted and laid out in front of them. They had both realised that the tape was how the assassins knew what to do such as to take a picture of the person they had killed as a way of getting paid by the Benefactor. It showed them that who ever was behind it all knew what they were doing, as well as the fact they seriously wanted them dead. They had listened to the tape twice now so that they probably absorb all of the details and information. Stiles knew that this was the tape that Kate was looking for, from what Aylee had told him Kate had gotten a different tape but this the reason she was looking for them. When the tape had finished Stiles and Scott just sat in silence for a while and looked at them

"Have you ever made a wire transfer?" Stiles said picking up on the detail of how the assassins were getting paid after they crossed someone one off the list

" never had enough money" Scott said not knowing the first thing about how to make a wire transfer to someone

" so you didn't understand a word of that either" he said gesturing to the tape, every word of it was so confusing to him. It all seemed so organised and put together

" I don't understand of this, why would anyone use all this money to kill us?" Scott said he couldn't understand what they had all done that was so bad that would make one want to kill them like this

" someone wants you dead dude badly and not just you, Aylee too......woah what are you doing?" Stiles said unable to forget the fact that his best friend and girlfriend had a target on their back as Scott began to put the money back into the gym bag

" it's late and we've got the P.S.A.Ts in the morning" he said thinking it was pretty obvious why he was doing what he was doing

" no I meant what are you doing with the money? Thats 500 thousand dollars, do you have any idea how much money that is?" Stiles said knowing that they couldn't just ignore it and hope it would go away

" it's 500 thousand" scott asked thinking it was stating the obvious since they had just sat and counted all the money

" it's half a million dollars, what are you gonna do with it? Just slide it under your mattress where your mom or Aylee can find it?" He said thinking it was one a dumb place to put and two not the best way to deal with it

" I have to talk to Derek, the money is his" he said trying to work out why Stiles was asking him all of these questions

" you mean his and Peters? Aylee might be a Hale but shes not one of them not really" he said he knew that Aylee was now more McCall than Hale, as far as they all knew she had no entitlement to that money

" what does that mean?" He said not sure where this was going, he knew that Stiles wasn't exactly Peter's biggest fan but he couldn't mean what scott thought he meant

" it means maybe we should proceed with caution" he said slightly cryptic, he didn't quite know what to say what he was thinking

" you don't think we should tell Derek?" He said working that much out from everything he was saying

" no no of course we have to tell him, I'm just... I'm just saying that some of that money is Peter's right?" He said still gathering his thoughts and processing them as he went along as he stood up
