My name is Taylor Sheppard I have an good life. I'm from perth Australia I have 2 sisters and my mom and dad are seperated. I don't really have any friends because I always been the type to keep to myself. But my dream is to go to school in America...
A couple weeks have passed since me and justin broke up. He stopped calling , texting and coming by. I've tried not to let it get to me but to be honest it bothers me so much because I miss him.
"Taylor sweety you have mail" my mom says before opening my door.
"Ok mom I'll be down in a sec" I say to her from my bed.
I'm nervous I know it has to be my letters saying if I got accepted into the schools I applied to. I'm nervous but it's time to see what my future looks like.
As I make my way downstairs I see my sisters watching the little mermaid. "Hi lovebugs" I say while pulling them into a group hug
"COME ON TAYLOR" my mom yells from the kitchen
"Mom relax" I say as I'm walking towards the kitchen as I walk to the counter to open the letter I see.....
"Hi taylor"
"Father" I say with a serious face me and my dad have never been close because I know what happened with him and my mom.
As I open the first letter from Northridge they didn't accept me. I was sad but I still have 2 others to open. As I open the other letter I was shaking and ready to cry once I noticed I didn't get accepted there either. I was so nervous I had my mom open the letter from California college of the arts. They taught singing cooking and alot of other things so I was hoping I'd get in there.
She opened the letter while holding my hand. As she opened the letter she started to have tears in her eyes so I was pretty scared to ask.
"YOU GOT IN BABY" my mom yells while crying and pulling me into a hug. I was so happy after getting in that I started to cry with her.
"WAIT MONICA HOW CAN YOU BE HAPPY TO SEND OUR DAUGHTER SO FAR AWAY!!! TAYLOR YOU CAN'T GO" my dad yells from his seat
"Lar-" my mom starts to talk but I cut her off
"YOU HAVEN'T BEEN AROUND IN HOW LONG? YOUR NOT GOING TO POP UP NOW AND START DEMANING BULLSHIT. I'M GROWN AND I'M GOING" I say while walking out the kichen and up to my room.
I'm not going to let my dad mess up my excitement about going to California. I'm so excited and I can't wait. As the day went on my mom ordered pizza and we celebrated

My mom told all of my family and her friends. But I hope Justin doesn't find out. Since our moms are friends I hope my mom did me this one favor and didn't tell his mom. As we're eating and watching mile 22 there's a knock at the door.
"Taylor can you get the door" my mom says while giving my sisters juice
"Who is it" I say but nobody answered me. I looked through the peephole to see justin standing there. I roll my eyes at the thought of him being at my house and walk away from the door.
