My name is Taylor Sheppard I have an good life. I'm from perth Australia I have 2 sisters and my mom and dad are seperated. I don't really have any friends because I always been the type to keep to myself. But my dream is to go to school in America...
I didn't sleep much last night I was so nervous about my trip that I couldn't sleep. This morning was full of tears from my mom and sisters. I promised to call everyday so my mom won't worry. I've now been on the plane for 22Hours this was the longest trip I've ever been on but I know it's going to be worth it.
"Excuse me passengers this is your captain speaking I hope you enjoyed your flight welcome Los Angeles and thank you for choosing Jet Blue"
As I made my way to the baggage claim area I called a uber I got my bags and went to wait for my ride.
45 Minutes Later
I had finally made it to the campus and it was amazing it was so sunny and beautiful here. All I could do was smile I was so excited this was a dream come true. I pulled out my phone and started taking pictures to send my mom and sisters.
"OH MY GOD HE'S HERE" I heard someone yell then a crowd of girls started running my way and all of a sudden I'm pushed to ground.
"Hey are you ok?" I looked up to see this girl holding out her hand I took it and stood to my feet.
"Yeah I'm fine but what's the rush with those girls" I asked her
"O they all love ruel"
"Who's that" I say with a confusing look on my face
"You don't know who ruel is?" She asked
"No" I said smiling
"Well he's a singer songwritter from Sydney" she says looking toward the crowd of girls
"O that's cool I'm taylor" I say holding my hand out for her to shake it
"I'm jas" she says while shaking my hand
"Do you know where the office is I need to get my room number and keys"
"I'm on my way there now just walk with me" she says while smiling at me While looking in the direction of the girls as we were walking off these girls were really all over him.
10 Minutes Later
We made it to the office and finally got our room number and keys..... "Hey jas do you know where building 937 is" I asked as ahe was looking at her paper
"I'm in the same building" she says in a exciting tone of voice
"That's so cool I'm in room 228"
"Tay we're roommates" she says smiling cheek to cheek Deep down I was so happy she was my roommate instead of someone I hadn't met yet.
"Come on tay let's go unpack and get something to eat" jas says while grabbing her bags
It was now around 5pm we unpacked all of our things and laid across our beds exhausted.
"Hey tay are you up for buffalo wild wings?"
"I've never been there before but yes I'm starving" I say getting up from my bed
"I want to shower first jas after that long flight and being pushed to the ground a shower is well needed" I say while getting my clothes
"Me too taylor see you in a few"
After we were ready and dressed I decided to take a selfie to put on my Instagram.
"Wait taylor" jas said running into the bathroom and posing I laughed and snapped the picture.
