Child at heart

After the conversation between Bella and Rose, and after Rose told Bella about her truth about what she is.
Her mom walked out of the room. Bella picked whatever was in front of her in the wardrobe and changed into a red shirt and pair of jeans along with white sneakers, no purse. She finishe and waited for him, in less than a 30 minutes she received a text from him saying he arrived, she puts the phone in her back pocket "I'm hanging out." she said right before she walked out of the door and got to the car.
"Thanks for picking me up." Says whilst not looking at him as her eyes are still wet. "Yea sure" He said and started the car, driving to the park.
As silence filled the car Kevin decided to break it
"Is everything okay ?" He asked even though he can tell that something is not okay, he noticed her new hair color is grey this time. Sometimes he thinks her hair color indicates how she's feeling. "Just some family drama, nothing to worry about." she forced a smile on her face. Few minutes later they stopped in front of the park. "We're here." Kevin said to get Bella's attention who's apparently in another dimension lost in her thoughts. She turned her head towards him "Sorry, come again ?" The voices in her head were louder than any other voice that she didn't even hear him. "I said we're here, we arrived." He smiled and got out of the car after undoing his seat belt and went to open the car to her but she was already out of the car "Sorry i must be the most boring companion ever." she pressed her lips together while looking at him "No, no don't say that you're the only one i wanna be with right now." She looked down blushing a little, then walked through the gates of the park. "Last time i came here was like 15 years ago, it didn't change a bit." she chuckled and looks around with twinkling eyes remembering old memories. "Well to be honest i never been here, it's my first time." "What ! You must be kidding me, i'll show you my favourite game." For a moment she forgot the burden on her chest. She took his hand and ran to the huge flying swings and looked at him excitedly waiting for his reaction, only to find him sweating whike looking at the swings on top. "You're afraid of heights aren't you ?" He kept staring at the swings then gulped "No, not at all.. I mean i don't know." He looked at her and it eased his fear just looking into her ocean blue eyes, after all he doesn't want to be the one to ruin the day "I just never tried it but i'm ready when you are." He tried to pull his self together and managed a smile while walking closer towards the swings, meanwhile Bella heard his hurt jumping which indicates lying or fear but now for his case it was both, but she didn't want to ask him about it once more so she just waited for the swings to come back down. "I'm ready as well." Kevin took a step forward and sat on one of the swings and Bella followed doing the same, she was smiling and swinging her legs and he was trying to stay put. They both are really different but isn't that what's good about every love story ?
The flying swings took off and started getting higher by each minute that passes until it's on the highest level. To Bella's surprise Kevin wasn't scared at all when she looked at him she smiled because he looked like a little baby who's trying something for the first time, but wasn't that it ? He actually just tried something for the first time but the difference is he's not a baby. While looking at the sky Bella noticed the full moon and admired its beauty, she's obsessed with the sky and everything up there. But also a thought accured to her while staring at the moon, but she shook the thought away, she wanted to forget all for now.
Kevin was feeling the best he had ever felt un a while, he was feeling like he's flying, like he's free and cared about nothing. The breeze of the cold air messing with his silky hair making him chuckle.

"Are you ready ?" Asked Josh. "Always." Daniel smirked and paced back and forth. "Are you sure about that though ? The girl is young, ver young and not worthy of our trust let alone to follow her father's destiny." He stopped and faced Josh "It's not our job to decide if she's worthy or not, we have to follow the orders." Daniel rolled his eyes and sighed "We have been following orders all our lifes, we might as well stand out of the line for the sake of our pack." Josh shook his head then started walking away "Either you're with us or not, there's no other option Daniel. And we better hurry before the girl leaves the park." Daniel groaned and followed him, full of anger and envy also jealousy

After few hours of playing and having fun they had a long walk then they stopped in front of a hill and for some reason Bella stared at it, Kevin looked at her. "Race ne to up there ?" She looked at him as well and chuckled ~If he only knew he doesn't have the slightest chance of winning against me~ "See you up there." A smirk appeared on her face and she started climbing, and so did Kevin but when she was almost already at the top of the hill.
After they both climbed and sat there. "How." Kevin said while trying to catch his breath "How are you that fast." He took a deep breath and let it out. "Practice." She shrugged. Kevin wanted to make a move, in fact he needed to and to be honest it was perfect timing, at least for him.. He sat closer to her and held her chin and turned her face toward him, he always thought that there's something in her that reflected pain in her eyes, it was too obvious he thought.
He bent down slowly looking from her eyes to her lips while her eyes stared at his, she opened her mouth to speak, but he closed the gap. Holding the side of her face, gently. To his surprise she didn't pull back but she kissed him, with passion running a hand through his hair. And holding the back of his neck with one hand. Music was playing in the park and there was laughter and talks all around them but he was only seeing her and listening to her breath, he deepened the kiss and wrapped an arm around her, enjoying the feeling of her lips touching his.
He removed a few loose hair strands on her face and tucked them behind her ear and they pulled out of the kiss, hesitantly and slowly. They looked at each other cherishing the moment, until Bella heared something with her supernatural hearing
"She's there." That was all what she heard until something pointy hit the back of her arm and the world around her started spinning then she fell on Kevin's chest unconscious.
