Who?

Bella stopped walking and snapped her neck towards her father's direction, she opened her mouth to let out a sigh then closed it. Afraid of what her father has to say. "Who?" Is all she managed to say with her heart racing in her chest. He looked at her then looked down, a slight blush appeared on his cheeks. He pocketed his hands and looked at her, there was hesitation in his eyes. "You're not," He took a deep breath and looked away from her. "You're not my only child." She linked her eyebrows in confusion and her mind was blank for a moment then bursted with thoughts and questions. "What.. what do you mean i'm not– i'm not your only child, Derek." She spoke in a voice that is hardly hearable. "I mean that you have a brother. Not from your mother though, a step brother that i almost forgot about my whole life." She braced herself with one arm and put the other on her forehead and scoffed. "Why am i not surprised? Oh 'cause you did the same with me. Keep going." She wanted to sound cool but inside her mind there was no such a thing as cool. ~Who is he talking aboutm? Would he be the one to slaughter the pack just because i'm the next alpha? What else is Derek hiding?~ As long as new thoughts kept popping through her mind, Derek didn't say a word he was searching for proper sentence to say but all he found was blankness. Bella dropped her hand by her sides and looked through her father's green eyes and all she saw was shame and regret in them that she almost felt bad for him. "How old is he? And what's his name?" He looked back at her and replied with a slight shrug. "I never met him, i was young and naive back then, for all i know it was before i fell for your mother so he's older than you." "And what reminded you of him so suddenly?" He rubbed the back of his neck and sighed. "I've heard that his mother was murdered recently, and now he's looking for his father. For me." He pointed at his chest then ran a hand on his face taking a deep breath. "His mother must've told him that he's royalty, and that he has to be the next alpha. I need you to come with me Bella, i'll train you to be the most powerful alpha our pack ever had. Everyone will shake at the sound of your name, they will respect you." She looked at him in disbelief, the tiniest bit of trust she had for him was gone by the time he told her about her step brother. "I do not want to be feared, i can earn their respect without making them fear me, plus you and i know better how this worked out for you. They fear you, but i didn't see any respect towards them for you." She spoke as she crossed her arms over her chest and looked at the direction of her house. "I'll meet you tomorrow so you can tell me all the things i need to know about my pack. I'm ready to be the alpha." She saw his eyes glimmering and before he could reply she used her supernatural speed and in a second she was outside her home's porch, as she was setting to knock the door it squeaked open before she even does it and sees Celine's face. "Are we wasting the whole sleepover on some creepy old man?" She raised an eyebrow her and then chuckled and Bella joined her.  
"Not anymore." She stepped into the house and they both rushed to Bella's room to watch some films and enjoy their last sleepover.

**The next day at Kevin's.**
Kevin sat on his favorite chair wondering where his best friend and the girl he loves have been for the past week or two, but he was too busy with this dog who had a virus spreading through his whole body so fast and he had to save him, and he did. He grabbed his phone and dialed Celine's number first but her number was out of reach, he dialed Bella's and it was also out of reach. He stood up and grabbed his car keys and walked to his car then started it and drove toward Bella's. Not so much after he could see her house at the middle of the street and he smiled at the thought of seeing her, before he reached the house he pulled out his phone out of his pocket and texted her. - I'm 10 mins away from your house, hope that's ok.- He stopped the car one block away in front of an ice cream shop and ordered Celine's most favorite flavor, oreo. Chocolate for him and strawberry for Bella and then he ordered vanilla flavoured ice cream hoping Bella's mom likes it as his mother did. On his way to Bella's someone stepped in front of him he looked up from the ice cream to the person's face and offered him a smile then intended to step aside and continue walking but again the person blocked his way. "You're Kevin Parker right?" Kevin looked at him but there was nothing familiar about the man to recognize him. He decided not to answer his question. "Is there a problem?" Kevin asked, the man looked at Kevin from head to toe not even bothering to hide it, Kevin was slightly shaken. "You're coming with me." And Kevin was sure it wasn't a question. "Excuse me? I'm not going anywhere with a stranger." "And i was not asking you to, i'm just informing you." The man took a hold of Kevin's elbow and sped away.
