as the time went by, tyler and josh got closer together. josh decided to start online school while tyler got a better job than he previously had.
money wasn't much of a problem, knowing tyler was fairly rich. they, however, didn't spend much of it. unless it was a special occasion where they wanted to spoil each other. but even then, they wouldn't use an excessive amount of cash.

about a month into living in their new home, both of them felt something that was off. they didn't really know what it was until josh randomly said, "i want a dog."

so they went to the pet store or wherever it is where you buy dogs because i have no idea and they adopted a golden retriever named Jim.

now, let me tell you, jim was a handful. but both boys wouldn't trade him for anything.

if you think this story ends in all happiness, guess what?

you're wrong.

because no relationship has zero struggles. even in between josh and tyler there were disputes. mainly little ones that were mostly harmless, but then there were the bigger ones. like when tyler had sex with jordan. or when josh kissed ryan.
it was actually ryan kissing josh, but tyler didn't know that until later.

something that didn't necessarily happen between them was when one day josh's sister, ashley, came to their house.
josh had always thought she had been killed but apparently not. and when he opened the door to see her that day, the tears didn't stop running down his cheeks for almost half an hour.

apparently, ashley was being tested on by a health agency. that josh was already sure had happened. but they didn't find anything harmful in her. so they let her go after three years.
it may seem like an excessive amount of time to be away, but they had to gain her trust in order to know what she was capable of. not to mention not being able to contact your family. and having them think you're dead.

but it was a reunion tyler was glad to see. he was happy to see josh even more happy. because it filled his heart with joy. and he was able to further understand the situation josh had been in.

they let ashley stay with them as long as she wanted. she was happy to be there with her brother and vise versa. she stayed until she was stable enough financially to afford her own apartment.

in a way that the boys still don't understand, ashley had brought them closer together. josh seemed to be more in love with tyler and tyler did too. it was almost like when they first started dating.

moving further into their relationship wasn't very difficult. months went by, then before you know it, they're celebrating five years of being together.

josh says that being with tyler after a long time of not being with anyone seemed like a blur. it happened so quickly and with so much emotion, it was somewhat too much to take in. that's why he appreciates every moment that sticks out to him more than usual.
especially when tyler proposed to him.

he remembers it clearly.
it was in january. they had gone down to seattle for fun on saturday. it had been snowing and so there were bits of white scattered here and there.
they went into the ice skating ring right next to the seattle center and started to skate. tyler hadn't been very good at it but he learned after falling a few times. (omg it fucking hurts when you fall. i personally haven't but i've seen them fall and bitch that shit looks so painful.)

after that, they went into MOPOP (museum of pop culture) ((best fucking place ever)). they took a photo in front of the mario wall, in the gaming room, in the star trek chair, in the fantasy section and so on.
but there's this one place that josh will forever hold in his heart.
there's this gigantic screen that has (typically) music videos being projected onto it. it's one of the first things you see when you walk in.
however, tyler waited until they were about to leave to pop the question. not to mention build me up buttercup by the foundations was playing. josh of course said yes, by the way.

and so a half year later, in july, they got married. on a hilltop. with only them and a few friends. not jordan though.

to say that they were eager to do so would be an understatement.

josh didn't think he would get this far with anyone. tyler had only hoped he could.

they fulfilled each others wishes. they love and continue to love each other.

until death do us part.
