Humans like to trick themselves
Pretend that they are not scared of the unknown
Of becoming oblivious to new generations
That they won’t matter
We like to think that we are above those fears
That our biggest fears are about what career to pick
Or about the things we own
But deep down we are all scared of the unknown and becoming oblivious
