3 ~ New Friends

Lily's P.O.V

I spotted my friends right in the middle of the cafeteria. Walking quickly to the table sitting down. I was not in the mood to talk eighth then so I finished my lunch in about ten minutes.

All good things must come to an end. "Lily did you notice we got eight new students. Four of the boys and two of the girls play basketball Daddy said that is," Mia said bring out of my dreaming.

"That's pretty cool I never thought we would get that many new students but we did lose a few," I exclaimed.

"I was talking to Bella Hunter, she's new, she seems really nice and she has a twin brother Liam," Sammy chirped.

"You guys that One Direction contest I am thinking about entering with your help. I think that it would be awesome and a once in a lifetime experience. What do you think girls?"

"Lillian Eleanor Rose you don't ask you just do. We all are dedicated fans and it sounds so fun," Melody answered for the five of them.

Before I could say anything else it was time to go to Spanish. The next three periods we're going to be together. Climbing the stairs we went our ways so we would not be late.

Hopefully Jake is not at his locker there is only a few lockers between us.

"Lily why won't you talk to me. I am the most popular kid in our grade and you are really lucky I like talking to you. You probably think I'm one of those people that don't notice the people in between but I do."

"Jake I have thought about that please tell me why?"

"Lily I have a crush on you and have since we were in second grade, Mrs. Carter's class. I never had the nerve to talk to you even though we were in band together last year. Maybe I thought it would make me less popular but I don't care anymore if it does."

"Jake I like you too I am not ready for a relationship can we please just be friends at this moment. I don't mean to friend zone you it's I have never in my life had some one tell me they had a crush on me."

With that I walked away to Spanish with him following right behind me. I can not believe what Jake just told me, I could have a screaming fit but I will save that for home.

I walked in the classroom to see class starts in two minutes and teacher was not there. She walked in right as I sat down, that was close I do not want to get caught again or yelled at by a teacher.

"Welcome to room 304, your Spanish for the year. This is a hard class because you are just starting Spanish for your first year. I believe you can all pass this class with effort from each and everyone of you I want no failing grades in this class. If anyone has a failing grade will come in here for lunch every single day. I will give you assigned seats then pass out your textbook. If misplaced or lost it will cost you around a hundred dollars," Ms. Rider said not to friendly even though she actually is.

Assigned seats given out and textbooks but I was not happy with the choice not completely though. This can not be happening almost every class I have to sit by Jake. He sits behind me with Bella in front, her brother on my right and Malory a friendly girl on my left. I am thankful that Jake plays percussion in band and I play the clarinet.

"How many sets of twins are in this grade," Ms. Rider asked and I thought that was kind of weird to ask your students.

"There is four sets of twins as of today Bella and Liam Hunter are the new ones," Mia said raising her hand.

The rest of class I zoned out as soon as it was time for electives I was at my locker hurrying to my locker. I grabbed everything I needed to take home and sprinted downstairs avoiding Jake.

"Hello class I hope you all had a good summer and I am glad to see only a few have quit band and that we have some new people," Mr. Handover exclaimed. He said some more stuff leaving about ten minted till class was over.

There were five new students in band Bella, Liam, Ashton, Phoebe, Becky. While Mr. Handover made the seating chart we were aloud to talk to each other.

"Hey Bella what instrument are you playing. I also hope you would like to be friends with us six if you want that is," I asked seeing she was sitting alone.

"I'm playing the flute and I would love to be your friend seeing Liam has a whole bunch of friends already and I only have a few," she answered very kindly.

Before the girls or I could say anything it was time for gym class.

I don't really like gym except when we played the sports I liked. We were given spots to stretch for our whole length of gym class. I zoned out as the teachers talked to us, we have two gym teachers. I don't really know why though it don't make since but we have always has two.
