What do you identify as (gender, sexuality, romatic etc, etc)?:

I am what is often referred to as gender fluid or non binary. Im attracted to only females and since I most often identify a female i suppose you could say im a lesbian.

Do you mind explaining what those terms mean for those in our audience who might not understand, or if you may have a different meaning than most people?:

So gender fluid means I don't identify with one gender but both. There are days when I will be super masculine and other days when I'm more feminine. Lesbian just means I am attracted to girls.

Did/do you ever struggle with accepting yourself? If yes, why?:

I had a really hard time accepting myself because my parents believe in very strict gender roles. As a child I was forced into dresses and to have my hair curled or braided. So when I got older and began to try and find myself it was really hard for me to go against my parents.

Have you come out of the closet to your family? If so, how did they react?:

I did come out overall my parents just kind of ignore it or treat it like a joke. They don't really believe it's who I am they see it as more of a fad.

What advice would you give other member of LGBT who may be closeted or having a hard time accepting themselves?:

At the end of the day nobody can force you to be comfortable with who you are that is something you will have to grow into and decide on your own. Just remember you are beautiful no matter what and there is so much love within this community even if there isn't in your current situation.
