Harry POV
It is our third time at Alan Carr's studio and we're all buzzing. The five of us joked around guessing all the rude questions Alan would have no trouble asking (as usual), but I was really worried this time. Recently Kasey and I had been hanging out in public more often, and people were noticing.
We're not dating, at least I don't think so. It's... Complicated. But our relationship is different from any others I've been in. I can never stay with a girl, and usually we don't last long enough to make anything official. But with Kasey it's different. Before we met we already knew we'd get along really well from hearing about each other from Liam and Danielle, though they have been doing all they could to keep us apart. The two of us tried to avoid this from happening, but we all knew it was inevitable. She's my closest friend, almost as close as Louis and I are. When I think about it, the two of us are in the same situation with holding relationships, so the fact that we've snogged a few times shouldn't be too surprising.
I'm sure Niall and Lou know, but Liam, Danielle, and Zayn were still completely oblivious, until what happened last Saturday. It had been a few days since then but we all knew Alan wouldn't have any trouble bringing it up.
"You all know them, they're probably the hottest sensation in the world right now. Please welcome Harry, Liam, Louis, Zayn, and Niall of One Direction!" Alan practically squealed. We're walking down the steps and of course I'm so nervous I almost trip and smash into Zayn in front of me. The rest of boys laughed loudly but I couldn't do the same. We sat down on the couch and after ordering some drinks, Alan started with his questions.
He cracked a few jokes about Niall's latest maneuver and asked Zayn, Liam, and Lou about their girlfriends, so I felt off the hook, and relaxed a bit. But then he brought up Danielle again, "Oh, and Liam I forgot to ask you about your girlfriend dancing in the Olympics! Did you get to catch it?" he asked obviously knowing the answer. "Yeah, it was really great to see her in action" Liam said with the same smile he always has when talking about Danielle, "At one point she got up and jumped into the other dancers, and they spun her around, but it must've been the craziest stunt to see live. I got a few texts from people making sure it worked out okay cause it was right scary!" He had everyone laughing, and I remember my heart sinking once Alan responded. "That must have been crazy being her boyfriend and all! I beg you would've jumped in and saved her if something were to happen! And I hear Danielle's sister has just moved to London to do some dancing too! How's that been?"
Niall and Louis laughed and nudged me around a bit, but I just wished Alan hadn't noticed. He had a cheeky smirk on his face, and I knew the next question that was coming. Liam felt the need to pipe in and answer since Kasey is practically his sister in law, though he hesitated, trying to avoid bringing up anything relating to me. "You're right, her little sister Kasey just moved over here last August, and we've all become really good friends with her."
Alan's focus redirected to me as said "Yeah we know you've become friends with her a bit haven't you Harry?" Shit. I had no idea how to answer. I tried to stay as vague as possible saying "Yeah we've become really good friends, and we just get along really well."
"So that's it?" he asked. "Yeah there's not much more to it than that" I said carefully hoping this inquiry would just end. But it didn't. And Alan did the last thing I'd expect.
