I swear I need to make like a chart of the days I'm going to publish a chapter but at the time I feel like it isn't the most effective because I can get reeeeeeally lazy at times.

Person 3rd POV

James walked in and sat next to Thomas, noticing his nervous demeanor.

"What's wrong?" James asked, propping his hands on the desk.

"Not even a hello first?" Thomas said stubbornly instead of answering the question. James rubbed the bridge of his nose and side.

"Hi Thomas, what's wrong?"

"Oh, hi James! It's something about Aaron," Thomas trailed off at the end, changing from being stubborn to being nervous again.

"What about him?" James asked, perking an eyebrow.

"Well, when we were walking to school like usual, he seemed more angry? Like, he was more pissed off than usual," Thomas explained.

"Isn't he always annoyed at something though, even if he doesn't say so-" James started but Thomas cut him off.

"And that's the thing! Usually when he's annoyed or irritated he doesn't say anything about it. He usually just stays calm and talks it out with someone later on, which is usually me."

"Awww, so you two are like best bros," James cooed. Thomas glared at him and pulled a needle out of his pocket.

"I can and will let you bleed very slowly James, don't test me," Thomas said with a dangerously low voice.

James stared at him before bursting out in laughter. Thomas couldn't help but laugh along.

"That was the funniest thing I've ever seen and we hang out with John!" James wheezed out. (Alex: say what now hoe?)

Thomas collected himself and took a deep breath. "Okay okay, we gotta be serious now. I'm not sure what's going on with Aaron but I don't really like it nor do I trust it."

"Well other than how he acted earlier, what's throwing you off?" James asked.

"Well you know he's an ice elemental, so normally whenever you stand around him he usually gives off a colder vibe, if that makes sense. Basically it's usually cooler around him, just like how its warmer around Alex," Thomas explained and James nodded.

"Well, today it felt warm around him. Like, usually warm to the point that I was sweating," That certainly got James' attention.

"What? That's not supposed to happen-" James started but the teacher walked into the room, slamming her books on the table.

James sighed and looked to the front of the room, just as uneasy as Thomas now.

Aaron sat in his class, tapping his fingers on the desk impatiently. An annoying, nagging voice spewing hateful comments to him constantly.

Aaron wasn't the type of person to get sad about insults, he gets angry and it takes a lot to get him that way.

That's exactly what the voice wanted.

See, when Aaron gets angry, he takes it out on those who try to help. Not because he doesn't want it, it's because he doubts them and his mind twists the words to be a lot more negative than they actually are.

"Hey are you okay?" Translates to "What's the problem now attention seeker?"

Pretty messed up, but he can't do anything about it sadly.

Finally the bell rang and Aaron got up, speed walking out of the class. He bumped into Alex and almost smiled until the nagging voice practically drowned out Alex's words, replacing them with even more insults that were more personal than before.

It didn't help that the voice sounded like Alex too.

"Aaron? Aaron are you okay?" Alex waved a hand in Aaron's face and Aaron glared at him, reaching and gripping Alex's hand.

"A-Aaron?"

"What do you want?"

"I just wanted to know if you were okay, you seem a bit off today..." Alex muttered, fear apparent in his expression.

"Well things would be fine if you didn't bother me," Aaron hissed, his eyes glowing a bit and causing ice to form where Aaron was holding him.

Alex gasped and tried to yank his hand away, the ice stinging his skin painfully.

"Aaron let go of me, please! I just want to help," Alex stuttered out, trying to get his hand free.

Aaron placed a hand on Alex's chest, allowing ice to spread before shoving him down to the ground.

"Well don't then," Aaron huffed and stomped past Alex.

Alex stared blankly ahead, tears pooling at his eyes. He stood up wincing at the burning cold on his wrist and chest.

Thomas, James, and John came running to Alex. John, obviously being Alex's closest friend, engulfed the boy in a bear hug while Alex began to sob.

"Its okay Alex, that's not him. We'll fix him and things will be alright," John cooed softly, rubbing circles into the boy's back gently.

Alex just kept on sobbing, gripping onto John's shirt.

How hurt and useless he felt.

This is mega late and I gotta update my other book but I just thought of a different way to take this story and I like it much better. We'll see as I always say
